be identified.

participate in emergency exercises when

 No employee or student of the Group is
authorized to initiate, or continue any activity,
that places themselves or others in danger. Any
such act or action will be viewed as a disciplinary
offence with the appropriate measures taken.
[4] Student services:
Student Services have a responsibility to:
─ Complete accident reports in respect of all
incidents affecting staff, students and other
persons on site.
─ Immediately inform the committee coordinators of
all serious accidents or incidents.
─ Notify the committee coordinators of all reportable
incidents immediately of the incident occurring.
First Aiders:
─ The school nurses are the first aiders.
─ First Aiders are required to ensure that they have
a fully stocked in-date First Aid kits at their normal
place of work to enable them to respond
effectively to any notified incident.
─ They ensure appropriate forms are completed
e.g. accident forms.
─ If an ambulance is called the health & safety
officer, committee coordinators, vice chief and
chief should be notified immediately.
─ Staff must familiarize themselves with, and follow
the First Aid Policy.
─ To assess First Aid problems presented by pupils
and staff, taking appropriate action in the event of
an emergency and communicating with staff and
parents as necessary.
─ To accompany girls, where the need arises, to
hospital and remain with them until parents arrive.
─ To be responsible for administering prescribed
drugs which are necessary to be taken by pupils

the bus, the child is considered a suspected Covid-
19 case. Immediately ensure the child is seated at
one meter or more away from the rest of the
children. The bus attendant should immediately
inform the health and safety officer in-charge at the
school who should immediately communicate with
school administration and parents/ guardians. If
the trip is to take the child home from school, the
child should be dropped off first. If the trip is to take
the child to school from home, the child should be
put in the isolation room at school and then sent

‫‪This staff or student can return to class only if‬‬
‫‪he/she is asymptomatic and produce a negative‬‬
‫‪PCR test, valid for 48 hours.‬‬
‫‪6. Any student or staff who has a chronic allergic‬‬
‫‪rhinitis or other health condition presented with‬‬
‫‪similar signs and symptoms of COVID-19 is‬‬
‫‪required to present a medical certificate from‬‬
‫‪his/her treating healthcare facility to be exempted‬‬
‫‪from PCR Testing.‬‬
‫‪7. The Health and Safety Team (HST) is responsible‬‬
‫‪to follow up with the student’s parent or affected‬‬
‫‪member of staff to check final diagnosis/PCR‬‬
‫‪results and request submission of the report.‬‬
‫‪8. The physician or nurse-in charge should‬‬
‫‪immediately refer all symptomatic cases to the‬‬
‫‪isolation room for assessment.‬‬
‫‪9. Student’s parents/guardians shall be immediately‬‬
‫‪informed.‬‬
‫‪10. If the suspected case is stable, then the student‬‬
‫‪may‬‬ ‫‪be‬‬ ‫‪handed‬‬ ‫‪over‬‬
‫‪parents/guardian/competent member of the family‬‬
‫‪or emergency contact.‬‬
‫‪11. In the event of unstable cases of students the‬‬
‫‪parents/guardians and in case of staff, the‬‬
‫‪emergency contact have to be informed‬‬
‫‪immediately. The case must be managed by the‬‬
‫‪ambulance service and where necessary‬‬
‫‪transferred to a hospital setting for medical‬‬
‫‪treatment and follow up.‬‬
‫‪[9.2] Positive PCR test:‬‬
‫‪1. Parents or guardians of students or staff with a‬‬
‫‪positive PCR result are required to report the result‬‬
‫‪to the responsible person of the HST.‬‬
‫‪2. People residing in the same house and identified‬‬
‫‪as close contact should be quarantined for seven‬‬
‫‪(7) days.‬‬
‫‪3. Students should shift into DL (if applicable).‬‬
‫‪4. Staff who are positive cases should not attend‬‬
‫‪work in person and may work remotely (if‬‬

stationery items, devices, or gadgets (i.e. laptops,
tablets, headphones, etc.). Students should not
share their stationery. If the children need
stationery, it should be provided by the teacher via
