First Quarter
H op-in- This is the first part of the learner’s leaning journey. Bible text
reading is the first step which leads the pupil to seek God’s guidance
followed by a prayer, the introduction of the learning competencies and
performance task. Furthermore, the IFL is given which will link to the last
part of the learning process.
O rganize- In this step, the learner explores the content of the lesson.
Lesson
discussions, interactive questions and presentations that evidence to
unlock the enabling competencies.
M ove-up- In this part of learning, the learner conducts proper assessment, and
integrates the learning experiences to the core values of the school, real-life
situations and to other subjects across the curriculum.
E xhibit- Highest part of the learning experience that leads the learner to be
reflective, exhibit skills learned, produce the required output and close with
a prayer.

meetings with minimum of 100 hosts

features such as scheduling assistance,
meeting note, taking, screen sharing,
meeting recording, and instant
messaging.

b. In School- it may enable students to see each other, share documents and
discuss lecture even they are in different cities or even countries.
It may also allow virtual field trip.
c. In Business- it is efficient to use not only in meetings, but also when dealing
with customers. Product demonstration may be executed more
effectively through video conferencing rather than explaining
verbally.
Benefits of Using Video Conferencing
1. It reduces travel time and expenses since it allows people to communicate to
several places in an instant without having to leave the office.
2. It allows people from different fields and places to easily collaborate and
share ideas with each other.
For this activity, the teacher will closely assist the pupils in participating in an
audio and video conference to illustrate how an audio and video conference is done.
Google Hangouts will be used. The teacher will provide the necessary information to
enable you to sign-in and join a conference.

Step 1. Go to Google Hangouts, the teacher
will provide the information.
Step 3. Send chat message while the video conference is going on. Click the
chat icon. Type your message in the chat box that will appear on the
bottom right side of the screen.
Step 4. You can also share your screen by clicking on the Screen icon. For
this, application, participants in the conference may be able to see
whatever is on your computer screen. You may share a slide
presentation, documents or demonstrate procedure.
Step 5. End the audio/video conference by clicking the end call icon.
Note: Observe the activities. Check if they are observing the safe and responsible
practices in using the tools. Use the rubric below.

Activity 1: Let’s Check
Look for a group. Write a short five-minute script and role play an audio-video
conference in the business arena. For example, show a business owner
communicating with a supplier, or a manager communicating with the sales force, etc.

Messenger to conduct an online collaboration and discuss with your group.

Let’s Apply: Performance Task (Provide a picture or video of performing the task.)
Create a group work using video-audio conferencing. Try to observe your group
on the activities. Check if they are observing the safe and responsible practices in
using the video-audio conferencing.

2. Benefits and challenges experienced in using the tools.
