GOAL Your goal is to create an ARTWORK or DESIGN for an embroidered article and hand-painted
batik

AUDIENCE Grade 8 students of Pag-asa National High School
SITUATION Based on what you’ve learned about creating an embroidered article and the
characteristics of arts and crafts in Southeast Asia, you are going to create a design for
an embroidered article and hand painted batik by applying the principles and elements
of design. Show in your artwork/design the principles and elements of design and the
salient features of Southeast Asian art.

Options for submission:

A. Using an app such as MS WORD or GOOGLE DOCS
and sending the file to the email address or FB Messenger of the teacher. (for MDL) and (for
ODL) send the attachment to our Google classroom.
B. You may create the activity through MS Word and print your work to be
submitted through your LR Kiosk. (This option is for MDL only)
C. Write your short story entitled “ THE CARESINGER OF ASIA” in a short bond paper and
submit it through your LR Kiosk. (This option is for MDL only)
