GOAL Your goal is to improvise a simple fitness or exercise tool or equipment that uses
recyclable materials that you can find around your home.
ROLE A Physical Fitness Trainer
AUDIENCE Trainees who are grade 8 students and their family members
SITUATION Based on what you’ve learned about recycling, physical activity, and physical fitness,
you are going to make a simple tool or equipment for fitness or exercise activities out
of recyclable materials available in your home. Decide what physical fitness tools or
equipment you must make. In a provided activity sheet, describe the recyclable
materials that could be used and explain how the equipment or tool made of recyclable
materials will improve your health-related fitness. After that, submit your finished
product to your teacher.

Options for submission:


A. You may create the activity at home and submit it through your LR Kiosk. (This option is for
MDL only)
B. You may create the activity at home and submit it during in-person classes. (This option is
for MDL and ODL)
C. You may create the activity at home and make a short vlog while making the recycled
equipment and show how to use the item in doing the exercise. Submit it by sending the file to
the email address or FB Messenger of the teacher. (This option is ODL and MDL)
