TITLE OF PROPOSED PROJECT

A. Veggie Siomai
● Name of business- Oh my Sio-Lay
● Why is it your product? - Siomai has been one of the most popular snacks, some people even make it as
their viand. Siomai is easily found in supermarkets, food stalls, and especially in street food areas. There
are a variety of siomai flavors, however all of those have meat incorporated. Hence, we thought of an
innovative way to make it healthier and more vegan-friendly.

B. Tofu Fries
● Name of business- Raffy Tofu
● Why is it your product?- French fries are also a popular snack and appetizer loved by most people. But
given the fact that most fries are already processed products and they are deep fried in hydrogenated oils,
thusthey come packed with a high amount of fats. That is why we came up with using tofu as a substitute
for processed fries and instead of deep frying it, we will use an oven.

C. Vegan Patty
● Name of business- Patty not Fatty
● Why is it your product? - Most burgers use meat such as beef patties, which are made up of high levels of
saturated fats and trans fatty acids that raise cholesterol. That can lead to high blood pressure, increased
heart disease, stroke and kidney diseases. While this product uses vegetables as ingredients for the patty
which offers nutritious benefits and is a healthier option.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED

- To provide healthier alternatives for the people that will help satisfy their cravings for these snacks that are
mostly unhealthy.

NATURE AND BENEFITS


- Most vendors buy these snacks in the supermarket or their supplier which is usually processed products.
Consequently, they cooked the snacks through the most unhealthy process such as deep frying and using
high cholesterol oil. Our advantage against our competitors is that our products are vegan-friendly and can
be a healthier alternative for our consumers because we will use vegetables as our main ingredient, and
we will use a process in which we will not be utilizing oil such as baking.
PROJECT LOCATION

- Our business will be established in Rotonda, Pagadian City. We chose this location since this is also
where most street food vendors sell in which our product will be different as to what they sell in a way that
it is innovative and a healthier option for the consumers.
