class, or publishing via an outside source.)

Lesson idea implementation: Students will start by answering the question: Do you think butterflies
grow like you do? This question will get them thinking about the process of growth and the life cycle.
Then students will watch a video to get a basic information over the topic. students then will answer
the question over the video. Students will have practice oganizing the life cycle of a butterfly. Then
students will draw on part of the life cycle. To asses students learning they will do a Kahoot.
Students will 80% will successful complete this assignment. Students will be on a time schedule, if
not completed in class they will have the opportunity to complete it at home.

Managing student learning: Students will have 5-10 minutes on each response. They will have time-
limits on each section to keep them on task. The timer will be set on the board for all to view.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL):
Students will have different representations of materials. They will have a video and game to explore
the life cycle of a butterfly.
Students will preform different action to explore the life cycle of a butterfly this is helpful inorder for
them to explain and understand this concept.

Reflective Practice:
Using 2.0 tools for communication and collaboration gives students multiple ways to explore a
concept. Ths is great for students because it gives them multiple ways to explore and grasp the
concept. Students also have many ways to explain and explain their knowledge over what they have
learned.
I look forward to seeing the different drawings and ways students describe the life cycle of a
butterfly. Giving students multiple ways of explaining helps those students that have trouble with
one way to shine on the other.
