Type of activity: Independent

Evaluation moment: Initial
Maximum score of the activity: 25 points
Activity starts on: Monday, Activity ends on: Sunday, February
February 7, 2022 20, 2022
With this activity it is expected to achieve the following
learning outcomes:

Learning result 1: Classify industrial project management and

development processes by combining knowledge, skills and
methodologies associated with an automation system in order to achieve
effective and efficient execution.
The activity consists of:

Consult and read the bibliographic references associated with unit 1 of

the course, you will find some inputs that will allow you to develop the
activity.

Standard concept map of the history and terminology of control systems.

1. The student must develop a concept map about the history of

automation 4.0.

Sensors and actuators characteristics

2. The student must make a query and describe the technical

characteristics associated with actuators and sensors, these are:

1
Precision, Accuracy, Sensitivity, Linearity, Range, Hysteresis,
Repeatability.
For the development of the activity, keep in mind that:

In the initial Information environment you must:

Take into account the start and end dates of the activity set out in the
course agenda.

Review the hours of attention via Skype of your assigned tutor and keep
him in mind for the resolution of specific doubts and concerns.

Review the schedule of synchronous meetings via webconference.

In the Learning environment you must:

Review the bibliographic references available for unit 1.

Download and carefully read the guide and rubric of the proposed
activity.

Consult the collaborative forum and make contributions to receive

feedback from the tutor and fellow group members.

In the Assessment environment you must:

Consolidated document in pdf with the elements requested in the activity

guide. The delivery extension is: Activity phase 1_student name.pdf

Evidence of independent work:

The independent work evidences to deliver are:

1. The student must develop a concept map about the history of

automation 4.0.

2. The student must make a query and describe the technical

characteristics of the actuators and sensors, these are: Precision,
Accuracy, Sensitivity, Linearity, Range, Hysteresis, Repeatability.

2
2. General guidelines for the elaboration of the learning
evidences to be delivered.

For independently produced evidence, please note the following

guidelines

Each student must upload the activity individually in the assessment

environment. This report should contain the following:

•Cover page
•Introduction
•Development of the proposed activities
•Concept map on the history of automation 4.0.
•Description of the characteristics of the sensors and actuators, these
are: Precision, Accuracy, Sensitivity, Linearity, Range, Hysteresis,
Repeatability.
•Conclusions.
•Bibliographic references

All members of the group must participate with their contributions in

the forum defined for the development of the activity.

Before delivering the requested product, they must check that it meets
all the requirements indicated in this activity guide.
Please note that all individual or group written products must comply
with the spelling standards and presentation conditions that have been
defined.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this
activity must comply with APA standards
In any case, comply with the referencing standards and avoid academic
plagiarism, for this you can support yourself by reviewing your written
products using the Turnitin tool found on the virtual campus.

Consider that in the agreement 029 of December 13, 2013, article 99,
the following are considered as offenses that violate the academic order,
among others: literal e) “Plagiarizing, that is, presenting the all or part
of a work, work, document or invention made by another person. It also
implies the use of missing citations or references, or proposing a citation
where there is no coincidence between it and the reference "and liberal
f)" The reproduction, or copying for profit, educational materials or

results of research products, which have intellectual rights reserved for
the University "

The academic sanctions that the student will face are the following:
a) In cases of academic fraud demonstrated in the academic work or
respective evaluation, the grade that will be imposed will be zero points
without prejudice to the corresponding disciplinary sanction.
b) In cases related to plagiarism demonstrated in academic work
whatever its nature, the grade that will be imposed will be zero points,
without prejudice to the corresponding disciplinary sanction.
