    Spring 2020-2021 A Week 9-10

    Speaking Task 3
    Purpose: increasing your speaking time, tracking your speaking progress, and noticing
    recurring mistakes that you are making
    Objectives: At the beginning of the semester, in the middle of the semester, and towards the
    end of the semester you will record yourself outside of class. The recording can be audio or
    video in form. They must be done individually.
    Duration: 2 minutes
    Submission: submit the self-assessment rubric to your teacher and the recording using a
    platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive.
    Assessment: Your teacher will give you a complete (C) only if
     the length of the recording is sufficient,
     the recording was submitted on time, and
     your self-assessment rubric was filled out completely.

    Reminder: Save a copy of your recordings and self-assessment rubrics in your digital
    portfolio!!

    Discussing a reading/listening from class


    Use the following outline to speak about a reading or listening from class. You may take brief
    notes in the spaces provided. However, do not write full sentences and do not spend more
    than 5 minutes preparing!
