In a dictionary you can consult
different types of words, finding
their meaning, etymology,
spelling, definition, you will also
find their syllabic separation and
grammar.
The definitions found are brief
and concrete.
The similarities between a
glossary and a dictionary are
quite a lot, but in a dictionary, you
will find the explanation of any
term, which means that it is not
limited to words related to a
specific topic.
The advantage that a dictionary
can offer you is to be able to find
any word along with its meaning,
in that word you can also confirm
its spelling and its respective
pronunciation.
