Personal achievement

Achievement –getting my L
Description
It is an achievement to me because I practiced a lot before taking my written test, I passed the
first time I went to take it, I started by reading the beginners driving book and it toke me about
two months to get through the whole book because I got it at the start of the summer I would
say in July sometime and I wasn’t eligible to even take my test till after I had my birthday which
is August 15th so I didn’t focus that much on reading it and I got lazy with reading it all so then
after my birthday I really started reading it and I started taking online practice tests after I
finished the book and I did multiple tests over and over for every day for about a month and I
booked for my written test and I couldn’t get in for another month after that so I continued to
practice and then I toke my test on October 30th here in Langley I have had it for almost one
year now, I booked a road test for my N a week ago or so and I cant get in till 5 months from
now its booked for February 15th.

me if I drive to get things they need and taking people places and getting myself to school.

going to be on your own most of the time and your going to have to be dependent on
yourself.

- Paying attention- you learn to become aware of your surrounding and being alert to
what can happen around you.
- Payments – I personally am not going to be making my own payments towards having a
car but for the future I will and this goes for anyone else who does have to pay for car
bills , you learn how to deal with money and paying monthly payments/insurance credit,
taxes and gas.
- Maturity- obviously you become more and realize you must be mature when making a
choice in having a car and driving because there are also going to be consequences.
- Judgement – your judgment skills are going to improve from driving over time the
judgment of the road, parking and your distance between other drivers and everything
else.
- Spending habits- you're going to learn to use your money effectively and usefully and
put important things first like the occasional mechanics, gas, bills etc...

-recognizing and understanding your blind spots, being aware and paying attention to your
surroundings and what's around you.
- road rules.
-lots of beneficial things to me and my life will come with having a car.
- there are a bunch of advantages and disadvantages
- it is a privilege not a right.

Future connections
- As I already mentioned, but it is a way I can get myself to the places I need to be.
- Future payments are a skill that will be developed Aswell, but it will teach me to pay for
other big items in my future, like houses and any other big purchases.
- That includes me getting myself to future occupations and hobbies.
