SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES

The preparation and implementation of safety and health protocols at Maypajo


High School had been highlighted since the new school year was about the start.
Teachers and students were giving efforts and time to make this possible.
Through the leadership of the School Principal, Mr. Benjamin M. Molina, II, school
safety and health measures of
Maypajo High School had been
undeniably successful.

Hygiene materials were always


provided. Signages and messages
near the high school entrance
gate, comfort rooms and
corridors were observed to
remind students and parents,
teachers and staffs on the
importance of safety and health

premises. Faucets and soaps were also available around the premises of the
school to keep everyone’s hand clean and dry. “We always make sure that we
follow 100% the safety and health protocols to ensure the cleanliness of everyone.
We still have a fight and we know COVID 19 is still around us and everyone’s
safety is our first priority” says Mrs. Bianca Silangcruz-Villanueva, WinS
Coordinator and School Clinician. Indeed, this

gain knowledge and experience to help combat the virus. “We keep reminding
ourselves and everyone that COVID
19 is still around us, our fight is not
yet finished, we have to be mentally,
physically and emotionally strong to

Teachers and students of Grade 10 were renovating the classrooms assigned to
them. Classroom door repair and proper ventilation were prioritized.

Doors were being repaired and students,


teachers and parents were giving their
unfailing efforts to recreate the
classrooms. “We are very grateful. Our
students are very helpful. These acts of
bayanihan sa brigada eskwela give us
hope. We feel united as of this moment.
The values that we instill our students did
not go in vain “says Mrs. Diana C. Dela
Cruz, Grade Level Chairman of Grade 10.

Regular sanitation and disinfection were being followed with set standards.
Teachers and staffs of Maypajo High School and through the leadership of School
Principal Mr. Benjamin M. Molina, II, the school had always been successful in
implementing health protocols in sanitation and disinfection. “Following this
protocol is an act of love for our students. We don’t just teach them the values of
following standards but also instill these values in their mind and heart. We are all
one - one in mind and one in heart” says Ms. Leony Suñer, English Club Adviser.

School clinic and special areas for treatment and isolations were also prioritized.
Headed by the WinS Coordinator and School Clinician, Mrs. Bianca Silangcruz-
Villanueva, it was made possible through the help of students and parents
donation such as hygiene equipment like alcohol and soaps. IEC materials were
also posted on walls of corridors and outside the school clinic.

Basic utilities such as water were made sure to function very well. Faucets are all
functioning and electricity as well. Access to safe drinking was made possible.

Hand washing station with soap and water are in the premises of school. Headed
by WinS Coordinator and School Clinician, Mrs. Bianca Silangcruz-Villanueva, all
hand washing stations are complete with sanitation materials such as soaps and
alcohol. Proper waste management is also implemented successfully.

Maypajo High School are ready for this school year. Teachers and students,
parents and many stakeholders contninue to collaborate in order to achieve
school’s emerging needs.
