In and Out

Is the gate really constructed for the students? Students of Marian College complained
about the exit gate because only school staff, stakeholders, and canteen vendors are allowed to
use it. 

The owner of the canteen outside of the school said that they are tasked with looking
for the gate. They strictly disallow the students to enter and go out of the gate because,
according to them, Fr. Allen told them to.

MC students feel sad about it. They are confused why it is prohibited from use, when in
fact, it was said that it was constructed for the students. "Nganong di man sila paagi, oa ra
kaayo" "Gabayad man ta aning skwelahan tapos di ta kagamit" "Layo na kaayo ug mutuyok
pa ta, kapoy baya" "Pwede ra unta muagi ug pauli na" These are just some of the students'
complaints you can hear along the hallway. 

The owner of the canteen outside the school explained why using the exit gate is
prohibited for the moment. She stated that there is currently no school guard on duty to keep
an eye out for it. She let the students understand politely the inconvenience of the school. 

Accordingly, the school exit gate is now ready for the opening of classes next school
year. This is really exciting for the students of Marian College. Just wait and be patient.
