1. What is your basis in choosing such resources listed in Task 6?
I've checked three websites that I think suit the learning competency I've chosen. This one is an accurate website that can help the students learn because they intend to provide individual support to all writers on campus by establishing a new writing center, the Writers Workshop. It provides assistance to all writers on campus in all forms of academic and professional writing at any stage of the writing process. The video clip also explains journalistic writing and gives enough information to guide the students.
2. Do the resources provide opportunities for practice?
Yes because it offers workshop where students can learn and practice how to compose journalistic texts. 3. What can you say about the input and the task embedded in those resources? It is quite challenging to compose one journalistic text because of all the things that should be considered in writing, but those resources will surely help to make the task easy for the students. 4. What challenge might your students encounter as they perform the task? Understand the content? Grammar issues and a lack of vocabulary are some of the challenges they might encounter when composing journalistic news. They might also have trouble with constructing sentences and choosing words.
