a. What does the speaker say about the power of words? What then do we need to consider

before opening our mouth?

He said that words have power. They can make everything turn into something.
According to him, a single word can save a life or one's soul. Therefore, before opening our
mouths, we should consider the effects of certain words we will utter. This will probably have a
huge impact on everything. Words can change anything. Thus, we should think several times
before spitting out words. Listen before you speak, think before you speak, and speak when it is
your time.

b. Do you think the speaker was able to effectively get his message across? Why or why not?

Yes, as a virtual audience just like the people in front of him, he got my attention. His
introduction makes the people react, which makes it interesting to listen to him. His words
definitely have power because they make me realize things. He has a sense of humor, which
makes his speech more appealing to the audience. He was not just trying to entertain, but he
was also persuading the audience by giving facts. People love to listen to stories, and he used
them to explain his concept. At last, he left an inspiring message for everyone, saying that if he
did it, then we can too.
