Change Material BOM CS02

Purpose
Use this procedure to change Material BOM.

Trigger
Perform this procedure when you want to change Material BOM.

Prerequisites
All the details related to BOM like Material No, BOM Usage, Plant, Item Category etc. should be known.

Helpful Hints
 CS02 is the SAP transaction code for creating Material BOM.
 A maintenance bill of material (BOM) is a complete, formally structured list of the components
making up a technical object or an assembly.
 Field values can be queried using the F4 help wherever available. This can be done either by placing

the cursor in the field and pressing F4, or by clicking on the match code that appears next to
the field.
 You can click on a field and press F1 to view the Field help. This allows you to understand the field
and decide what contents should be entered.

Change Material BOM

 Enter the T-Code CS02 and click on icon to change Material BOM.

 You can also double click on the menu “Change” as highlighted in the below screenshot to change
Material BOM.
