ACTIVITY 1.1: THINK, PAIR AND SHARE (THE MOST vs. THE LEAST)
ACTIVITY 1.1: THINK, PAIR AND SHARE (THE MOST vs. THE LEAST)
Find a partner. For ten (10) minutes discuss with your partner the four (4) potentialities
of a true human being After discussing it with your partner, identify what potentiality that
you think you possess the MOST and what you possess the LEAST. Support your
answer. Next, share what have you discussed with your partner to the other pairs. The
output must be presented to the class.
1.1. Discuss the four (4) potentialities or skills of a true human being.
For me and for my partner, we discussed and conclude that the four potentialities
of a true human being is having courage, optimism, perseverance and lastly God
fearing. Those are the four potentialities of a true human being we have chosen. The
first one is having a courage which means the ability to do something that frightens one.
The other one is optimistic that is an attitude reflecting a hope that the outcome of any
specific endeavor will be positive, favorable, and desirable. The third potentiality, we
have been chosen is the perseverance that shows persistence in doing something
despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. And last but not the least is God fearing
who try to obey the rules of their religion and to live in a way that is considered morally
right.
1.2. What skill do you think you possess the MOST? Support your answer.
I think the skill I possess the most is having perseverance. For example is that
every time I took a subject or assignments that give me a hard time to think or to do it, I
always try my best to understand even it gives me a longer time to get the answer.
Perseverance means to survive by reviving yourself every time you fall. Life can be very
cruel to you, but you will not complain and just keep going if you are persistent.
1.3. What skill do you think you possess the LEAST? Support your answer.
I think the skill I possess the least is the optimistic because sometimes I really not
a positive thinker or I did not expect that good things to happen. The reason why is that
I am not a good decision maker that sometimes I am doubtful on my own decision.
