ACTIVITY 1.1: THINK, PAIR AND SHARE (THE MOST vs. THE LEAST)

ACTIVITY 1.1: THINK, PAIR AND SHARE (THE MOST vs. THE LEAST)
Find a partner. For ten (10) minutes discuss with your partner the four (4) potentialities
of a true human being After discussing it with your partner, identify what potentiality that
you think you possess the MOST and what you possess the LEAST. Support your
answer. Next, share what have you discussed with your partner to the other pairs. The
output must be presented to the class.
1.1. Discuss the four (4) potentialities or skills of a true human being.
For me and for my partner, we discussed and conclude that the four potentialities
of a true human being is having courage, optimism, perseverance and lastly God
fearing. Those are the four potentialities of a true human being we have chosen. The
first one is having a courage which means the ability to do something that frightens one.
The other one is optimistic that is an attitude reflecting a hope that the outcome of any
specific endeavor will be positive, favorable, and desirable. The third potentiality, we
have been chosen is the perseverance that shows persistence in doing something
despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. And last but not the least is God fearing
who try to obey the rules of their religion and to live in a way that is considered morally
right.
1.2. What skill do you think you possess the MOST? Support your answer.
I think the skill I possess the most is having perseverance. For example is that
every time I took a subject or assignments that give me a hard time to think or to do it, I
always try my best to understand even it gives me a longer time to get the answer.
Perseverance means to survive by reviving yourself every time you fall. Life can be very
cruel to you, but you will not complain and just keep going if you are persistent.
1.3. What skill do you think you possess the LEAST? Support your answer.
I think the skill I possess the least is the optimistic because sometimes I really not
a positive thinker or I did not expect that good things to happen. The reason why is that
I am not a good decision maker that sometimes I am doubtful on my own decision.

ACTIVITY 1.2: TELL ME WHY

2.1 Do you believe that your responses or actions are influenced by the way your brain
processed the perceived stimulus? Why?
I think no because our responses or actions are not directly influenced by human
perception unless the human perception causes some effect on reality. Perception is the
receiving part. Action or any other reality is the influencing part. Now, you could perceive
something and then take some action because of what you saw or heard
2.2. What will you do if while walking along a narrow road you saw a suspicious man
rushing at you? Would you fight or flee? Why?
I think the good idea is to flee because the person may not even chase if it looks
like they cant catch you. Make to sure run in the best direction or to the best destination.

ACTIVITY 1.3: NAME ME

Below are the different types of norms. Write F on the space provided if it is under
folkways, M for mores, T for taboo and L for laws.
F 1. Celebrating fiesta
M 2. Greeting and saying goodbye to the elders
M 3. Having sacred marriage ceremony
T 4. Entering other's house without permission
T 5. Two people intimately kissing inside a church
T 6. Wearing see-through clothes and above-the-knee skirt when going to church
T 7. Resorting to abortion

T 9. Killing a person
L 10. The Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002

ACTIVITY 1.4: YOU DECIDE

Assume that you are the Chief of Police in your city. On the way to a random inspection
among your subordinates, you caught a scene where bystanders are looking at a
commotion between two men. Then you realized that the root cause of the chaos is
your younger brother. What will you do? Support your answer.
If I am the Chief of Police in my city and saw my younger fought with the other
guy I will definitely starting to stop them and take them to the police station to explain
their side how and why they are fighting. I will not take the side of my younger brother. I
will be fair on the investigation because it is the right thing to do as Chief of Police.

ACTIVITY 2.1: WHO AM I?

In this activity, you will explain the concept of human behavior in five (5) sentences only
using your own words. After which, you will describe your moi and your personne.
1. Discuss the concept of human behavior using your own words (5 sentences only).
Human behavior is that which arises from free will which God has granted only to
humans. Understanding human behavior is building up acceptance toward people’s
ways of living. The process is about knowing people and connecting to them. It’s about
developing patience in order to listen to them and understand what they want to
express. It deals with interacting with them and knowing the various ways in which they
behave in different circumstances.
2. Describe your moi.
I am kind, dreamer, humorous, and innocent.
3. Describe your personne.
I am easy to be with and I respect the decision or opinions of others.

ACTIVITY 2.2: ADD ME UP

If you are going to add at least one (1) perspective of human behavior, what will it be
and why?
I think I will add the effect of the environment in the perspective of human
behavior because behavior is defined by the subject and their environment. Each
environment is different, so you have to identify what actions are threatening to the
environment, and which ones are not. Since we’re the ones taking the action, we can
call that the self, and the environment can be others.

ACTIVITY 2.3: CRYSTAL CLEAR and THE MUDDIEST POINT

Which of the discussed perspectives of human behavior do you agree with? Why?
I agree with Humanistic psychology is a psychological perspective it adopts a
holistic approach to human existence through investigations of concepts such as
meaning, values, freedom, tragedy, personal responsibility, human potential, spirituality,
and self-actualization. human personality and behaviour as dependant on what brain
hemisphere we are using, much human personalty and behaviour at the moment is right
brain based anxious/negative.I can maintain a left brain logical/positive personality with
associated behaviour, I can quickly asses people on their level and type of anxiety and
its symptoms.
