Focus :
Vegetative Reproduction
This form of asexual reproduction occurs in plants only. In vegetative propagation, parts of matured plant like stems, roots
and leaves are used to grow a new plant. The buds which are present in dormant state in matured plant are provided with
suitable conditions like moisture and warmth so that they grow and develop to form a new plant.

TP6 : Design a presentation using multi media / visual / folio / poster / role play / drama; with creative and innovative use
of science knowledge and skills of the cell as the basic unit of life / coordination / response / reproduction; in the context
of problem solving and decision making; with regards to the social values/ economy / culture of the community.
Assignment: Damia loves to help her mother and father in the garden. In their garden, there
are many plants. There are rambutan trees, durians and even vegetables. While helping her
mother grow vegetables, Damia found that there are plants that are planted using different
parts of the plants, such as the root and stem parts. Let's help Damia to investigate and
identify the types of plant reproduction.
1. You are required to plant two different plants using vegetative parts of the plant 
2. You need to take measurements of the length of the planted part of the plant. Record any
observations you notice on the plant.
3. You can use recycled materials to make the plant’s pot. Your product presentation must be
attractive, and creative
4. Submit both product and a study report
