YFC YOUTH CAMP ONLINE TRAINING OVERVIEW

The Youth Camp, being the entry point to be an official member of Youth for Christ is one of the
most crucial activity as we serve because it is in this activity that the participants may be able to establish
or re-establish their respective personal relationship with Christ. This is also an opportunity for the young
to rediscover their faith, build friendship among others, experience freedom and genuine fun. In this
camp, they may be able to relate with different sets of people and may lead them into different
realizations through the sessions and it is essential that all the people who will serve the Youth Camp are
properly trained to conduct the said activity properly.

Given that our activities have been shifting from face-to-face to online, same goes for the entry
point of the young in the ministry. Thus, an intensive Youth Camp Training Online was designed
accordingly. Knowing that this is an “unfamiliar” ground to us, we are to be equipped and be trained
orderly first to conduct the activity properly. This is for online solely and is good to use during this time
that we are confined in our respective homes. This training which will be initially downloaded by the PFO
Team consists of six (6) sessions/workshops and will be conducted at least one month before the
scheduled Youth Camp. This will be done for two (2) consecutive days in less than three (3) hours per day.
It is important to note that this will happen for consecutive days to easily grasp the topics from the
previous sessions. All activities and sessions were made so that the service team of a youth camp will have
a full understanding of the activity.

OBJECTIVES
The Youth Camp Training Online aims to:
• have a better understanding of the Youth Camp Online;
• be trained to effectively serve in the activity through the different roles and responsibilities;
• strengthen coordination of each other’s efforts in preparation for the upcoming Youth Camp
Online.

Please note that the service team should be 30 minutes earlier than the participants for final
meeting and pray over of the speakers and the whole Youth Camp Training Online should not exceed
three (3) hours for both days.

THE YOUTH CAMP TRAINING ONLINE SESSIONS

From what we have used to four (4) sessions of the Youth Camp Training, we now shift to having
a total of six (6) sessions as we prepare for the Youth Camp Online. The sessions should not be
interchanged with one another and the sessions are as follows:

Worship Workshop
Youth Camp Online 101
We have been doing worship
online but what should we really
do every time? This workshop
will allow us to embrace the
culture of worship and its value
in the bigger community of
Couples for Christ. This
workshop will also explain the
importance of giving exhortation
during a worship and will
provide some tips in conducting
a worship online.
Basically, this session will give
the significant updates on how
we will continue our
evangelization through Youth
Camp. This session will
enumerate the roles and
responsibilities of the service
team, now that we will be doing
it online. Lastly, this session
hopes to be a source of
empowerment to everyone who
A YFC brother leader who knows
how to play guitar, sing a song,
or can carry a tune and has
experience in leading worship.
He should also know the right
culture of worship in CFC.
An active YFC leader who has
experienced leading camp s in
the past; someone who
personally experienced great
change in his/her life and seeing
the purpose of the youth camp
as part of God’s plan for
him/her. It is important that
he/she is Someone who has a

Tech Workshop Now that we have been using
different gadgets and platforms
in doing our activities, it is
necessary that we should also
know the standard requirement
of the equipment that we will be
using to ensure excellence. This
workshop will lay down different
technical requirements to
enhance the skills of the young
in conducting Youth Camp
Online.
YFC Netiquette As leaders of our respective
areas, we are being tapped to
give sessions and we are to be
reminded what should we do as
a speaker. This session will give
the young some tips how they
can be an effective speaker or
presenter as they give different
sessions online.
Spiritual Warfare Even online, we cannot deny the
fact that there is still an existing
unseen battle. There is a need
for pastoral reinforcement and
empowerment of young
servants on how to adapt on this
new way of evangelization. Still,
armed with knowledge and
appreciation of the full armor of
God.
Teaching on Charismatic Gifts In preparing for the Youth Camp
Online, it is important that the
service team appreciate and
understand the charismatic gifts.
On a more general level, the
teaching can lead them to a
deeper experience of the
workings of the Holy Spirit in
their lives.
A YFC/SFC leader who is well-
versed in conducting online
activities. He/she is someone
who knows and can explain the
basic equipment, set-up, and
platforms in online activity.
(Suggestion is the YCOM or
SCOM Head of the Area.)
A matured YFC/SFC brother or
sister who is experienced in
giving sessions online. He/she is
someone who can explain why
we need to present ourselves
properly every time we give a
sharing or a session.
A matured YFC/SFC who has
experienced challenges/trials in
an online setting and was able to
overcome it through a deeper
comprehension and
appreciation of the full armor of
God.
A matured YFC/SFC leader who
is well versed of the nine (9) gifts
of the Holy Spirit. He/she should
know how to explain these gifts
properly using the language of
the young.
