 INTRODUCTION

The main focus of this presentation is to share with you some aspects about computers,
focusing mainly on its components. We will also show to you how these components are and
the importance of each one of them.
The computer is formed by components, these components include the CPU, GPU,
Motherboard, PSU, memory, storage and PC cooling.

 Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the portion of a computer that retrieves and
executes instructions. The CPU is essentially the brain of a CAD system. It consists of
an arithmetic and a control unit, and various registers.

 Graphic
Processing Unit
(GPU) is a
specialized
electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the
creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a display device. GPUs are
used in embedded systems, mobile phones, personal computers, workstations, and
game consoles.

 Motherboard, also
known as mainboard, is
the main printed circuit
board in general-purpose
computers and other
expandable systems. As the name suggests, this board is often referred to as the
"mother" of all components attached to it, which often include peripherals, interface
cards, and daughterboards: sound cards, video cards, network cards, host bus
adapters, TV tuner cards, IEEE 1394 cards; and a variety of other custom
components.
  Computer Memory is a device or system that is used to store information for
immediate use in a computer or related computer hardware and digital electronic
devices. Computer memory operates at a high speed compared to storage that is
slower but less expensive and higher in capacity.

 Computer Data Storage is a technology consisting of computer components and

recording media that are used to retain digital data. It is a core function and
fundamental component of computers. The CPU of a computer is what manipulates
data by performing computations.

CONCLUSION

We can conclude that each component has its own function and together, these components
give you an operational computer.
