Unit: V- At the circus.
Topic: The circus.

The student identifies vocabulary related to circus routine activities through


audios, visual aids and written form.

C: Learning Activities
Opening activities:

Warm up: The teacher starts the class with the song “Singing in the rain” by
using speaker and students follow him. 3 minutes.

Review Prior Knowledge

Through the memory game the teacher review vocabulary related to


Occupations, first professor shows flashcards with picture´s professions, he
says ¨He´s a/an or she´s a/an according to gender and students say the
profession. Then teacher paste the flashcards on left side of the board and the
hidden vocabulary on right side of the board, now teacher asks for student´s
participation. He or she takes a flashcard and look at the picture then he looks
for the correct word but he/she just has three opportunities to found to get the
correct word. 7minutes.

Middle Activities Controlled/ Free Practice

Vocabulary
Listening:
The teacher by using the data show, computer through power point presents
vocabulary related to Circus in each slide teacher shows a picture followed an audio
about it, students listen and repeat after audio:
Circus, Magician, magic tricks, sells, vendors, popcorns, make, meat, animals,
ringmaster, clown.7minutes
Speaking: Then teacher shows again the same pictures to students but without audio
and teacher asks “what do you see “students respond I see a magician and so on. 5
minutes.
Closing Activities
Game: The teacher looks for the game ¨Happy campers 6¨ and show the game through
data show, he explains how the game works and students start with it, students takes
turns to participate actively they look at pictures play the audio and choose the correct
one according to listen. 15 minutes

Evaluation
Listen and complete: The students complete the words according what he/she listens.

Homework
The teacher provides a piece of paper to Students
