REFLECTION
There are times in life when Jesus is out of our own frame. It might be the
moments when we are happy or the opposite but it still happens that we do not feel
or see Him in our lives. This homily reminded me that this actually happens and what
we need to do is to redirect our focus. He is always there, when everything seems
blurry or empty, let us adjust our focus. When I get sad, my thoughts are clouded with
so many things that I sometimes forget about Him and when I do remember Him,
things get better. Our distractions are temporary but Jesus is permanent in our lives. In
the past few days, I wasn’t feeling better because of the things I worry about, making
me drown more into these negative thoughts. Gladly, the homily for this Sunday fits in
my situation which made me feel a little better and calmer.
