Words fail to express one’s feelings but anyway, I acknowledge my

sincere gratitude with sense of reverence to almighty God by the
grace of whom I was able to complete my work. I put myself in
humblest desk in order to give same measure and recognition to all
those who have been instrumental throughout the entire process of
carrying out the project.
I am thankful to HZL-ZSD for giving me the opportunity to work with
the organization as a summer trainee. I extend my gratitude
towards the executives of HZL-ZSD. Without their cooperation I
would not have been able to accomplish my task. I appreciate them
for spending few minutes out of their valuable and precious time.

Research Methodology
Research is a scientific and systematic search for pertinent
information on a specific topic.
It is a systematized effort to gain new knowledge.
Objectives:-
1. To gain familiarity with a phenomenon or to achieve new
sights into it.
2. To determine the frequency with which something occurs or
with which it is associated with something else.
3. To portray accurately the characteristics of a particular
individual, situation or a group.

Significance:-
1. It provides the basis for nearly all government policies in our
economic system.
2. It has its special significance in solving various operational
and planning problems of business and industry.

Data collection:-

The task of data collection begins after a research problem has

been defined and research .

Primary data collection:- the primary data are those data

which are collected afresh and for the first time, and thus happen
to be original in character. We can obtain primary data either
through observation or through direct communication with
respondents in one form or another or through personal interviews
or questionnaire.
In this project I have collected my primary data from the sources
such as – discussion with my project head, questionnaires, field
analysis, various visits to different process department offices and
finding out their grading procedure.

Secondary data collection:- secondary data means data

that are already available. They refer to the data which have
already been collected and analysed by someone else.
For this project I collected more data from various secondary
sources to give a finishing to my work. I refered various HZL
magazines, HZL Co. sources, Co. prospectous, the Vedanta site and
the charts which were displayed by the manager in his office etc.

Processing and analysis of data:- processing implies

editing, coding, classification and tabulation of collected data so
that hey are amenable to analysis. Analysis refers to computation of
certain measures along with searching for patterns of relationship
that exists among data groups.
At this third stage after collecting all the data I further proceeded
with my work by doing the processing and analysis of data.
I first analyzed all the questions which were there in the
questionnaire prepared by me. After analyzing them I did all the
calculations which were required in making the pie charts and then
prepared the pie charts for each and every question and then on the
basis of that I finally drew conclusions and suggestions.
