MAI Analysis

The low scores in my MAI There aren't any low, but I think the 7/10 is the lowest
among the others which is Information Management
Strategies.

The high scores in my MAI The highest are the perfect ones - Procedural
Knowledge, Conditional Knowledge

What do I discover about myself? I discover that I have some good potentials at other
fields but lacks on the others as well.

What I am planning to do with my low scores? With my low score, I will continue to look into my
weaknesses and learn to improve it , as I study and
learn new things I will develop the strengths I have in
me and use it in appropriate fields of their efficiency.

How am I going to use the result for my studies? This will be my basis to focus more and lend time to the
lowest scored category.

What other studying techniques should I apply to do I should improve my time managements skills as I really

Activity No. 3 – Addressing the Epidemic of Stress and Depression through a Self-Care Plan

Stress factors our daily living, the emotions we feel everyday as we do our work, our studies, the
conversations we have with other people, the expectations we get from our teachers, parents, boss at
work. Basically everything we do factors the stress of a person. The article I read claims that stress is our
body’s response to pressure. Many different situations or life events can cause stress. It is often
triggered when we experience something new, unexpected or that threatens our sense of self, or when
we feel we have little control over a situation. (mentalhealth. org. uk, 2021).

2. Depression is a mental health condition in which a person feels great sadness, at worse it may step
down to thinking about suicidal, hurting own self, oversleeping or inadequate amount of sleep.
Psychiatry. org states in the article that they wrote that, Depression (major depressive disorder) is a
common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you
act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in
activities you once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease
your ability to function at work and at home.

3. Stress at some point is good on an individual, Stress can help you be prepared to face challenges or
respond to dangerous situations. Good stress doesn’t stick around. It boosts your mood to meet the
moment, then goes away. If you’re under stress for long periods of time, it can become overwhelming
and affect you both physically and emotionally. According to David Prescott, PhD, associate professor of
Health Administration and Public Health at Husson University in Bangor, ME. Stress benefits shortly to
people, but it contributes a lot of negativities if activated in a longer term, If we stay under chronic
stress, our physiological stress response is taxed beyond what it’s designed to do, and it starts to impair
us, The effects of chronic, or long-term, stress can be harmful on their own, but they also can contribute
to depression, a mood disorder that makes you feel sad and disinterested in things you usually enjoy.
Depression can affect your appetite, your sleep habits, and your ability to concentrate.

emotions we feel and the feelings we convey. And since stress is relative to depression then think of the

Personal Insights

I genuinely think that this unit is very comprehensive and helpful to people like me that have bad mental
status, vulnerable to mental sickness and weak mental capabilities. As I answer all the activities I come
up with realizations that my weaknesses and strengths are really something I can hold on to. Thank you
for this very informative lessons we gone through for a year from Unit 1 - 4, It's really enjoyable and fun
to do.
