Rehabilitation and Landscaping of Line Drainage x Canal

 The project will cover the whole stretch from Faura Outfall to Abad Outfall wherein vigan tiles will be

 MAC Builders HDPE pipe laying for FauraxOutfall, specifically the movement of heavy equipment on
Sta. 300-500, caused damages on the secondary

 MAC Builders has agreed to repair the areaxfor the damages because of their operation.
 JD Panlaqui informed the group that the works
x of MAC Builder may have caused delay to the
completion of line drainage canal. x
 MMDA and MBCO agreed that MBCO willx coordinate with DPWH with regards to the damages and
operations on the area. x
 JD Panlaqui will continue the works from Faura
x to Remedios Outfall.

 MMDA required MBCO for the exact number x of illegal pipes/outfalls that needs to be plugged.

 Fecal Coliform of MYC STP increased to 35,000
x ppm last 2 February 2021 based on EMB results
wherein block of solid (half coconut husk) was
x found at the suction pipeline.
 Polymer line was also affected by the clogging of solid thus modifying the coagulation process,
 Water supply, coming from Maynilad, has already been available since February 2021.
 Booster pump will be installed for the water tank.
 Discharge pipe of the cistern going to Manila Bay has leak.
 Tertiary Treatment is on trial process awaiting the results from EMB.
 No strainer was installed before the suction pump or along suction pipeline.
 Conveyor belt with filter press for sludge has not been used since operations started.
 Brown scum was visible nearby the discharge point.

 MMDA wants clarification for Abad Outfall if vertical garden will be constructed on the area.

Clearing, Grubbing, Desilting and Disposal of Submerged Garbaged of Parañaque River System
 MMDA and MBCO inspected the Parañaque River but MBCO wants priority esteros/creeks along
Parañaque River.
 MBCO will provide list for esteros and creeks along the river.

AGREEMENTS:
 MAC Builders will repair the area for damages that their works has caused.
 MMDA wants a copy for contract agreement between JD Panlaqui and Triple 8 Construction and
Supply, Inc. and the billing for the water line.
 MBCO suggested to plug almost thirty (30) illegal pipes/outfalls along Baywalk.
 Y-Strainer should be installed along the suction pipeline, and pressure gauges should also be installed
to monitor and protect the pump. If the cost of Y-strainers will not fit within the budget, at least a
pump strainer should be installed.
 Additional treatment must be installed to prevent any unforeseen problem/s in the main treatment
process ensuring the water quality discharging into the Manila Bay is within the standards of DAO
2016-08.
