2. After considering the author’s profession and affiliation, what possible biases the author
might have about the topic?

The author’s likely bias on the subject might be that augmented reality is useful in all other
things and industries as well as in education since they are researchers and are also in line
with augmented reality.

3. What is the purpose of the text, and how does the author accomplish that purpose? What
evidence does the author use to support the main idea in the text?

The purpose of the text is for us to recognize the potential of augmented reality in our daily
lives especially in education if this will be taught in schools.

4. What specific idea/information in the text challenges or surprises you? Why?

The way that construction and architecture industries are not being used by most of the
companies given that technology is advancing and growing fast. I think most of the
companies should use this kind of technology.

5. Is the style of writing suitable for the intended audience? Is it too formal or too casual?
Why?

The writing style is appropriate for the audience since it informs us about the advantages of
using Augmented Reality. It is formal since it is founded only on scientific studies and
research.
