SCRIPT: Assessment 101: Exploring the Dynamics of Psychological Assessment

TAN: Before we proceed to the program, may I call on Ms. Jessica Vicente and Mr. Ivan Garcia,
the 2nd year representative and business manager of the psychology society, to give us our ice
breaker activity for today.
Ice Breaker
TAN: Good afternoon, everyone, we will now commence with our program proper. I am
PRINCESS LYKA P. TAN the PRO of psychology society.
BARLOW: And I am JANUARY R. BARLOW, the VICE PRESIDENT INTERNAL of
psychology society. Together with our co-hosts Benedict P. Sta. Teresa, president, Kayla Bettina
M. Pelino, auditor, and Ivan R. Garcia, business manager, and WE ARE the masters of ceremony
for today’s event.
PELINO: I would like to remind all of the participants for today our webinar’s house rules.
Mute all microphones during the webinar. Raise a hand to request to be recognized for
participation in the discussion. Keep all the mobile phone/s in silent mode. Stay focused
throughout the discussion and take note of the valuable insights and critical concepts.
GARCIA: Do not share or project your own desktop/laptop/mobile screen in the virtual screen
unless you are instructed to do so. Should there be any question/s or clarification/s during the
conduct of the webinar, please use the chat box to direct your concerns. The moderator shall
gather all the questions raised and address to the resource speaker during the open forum. Lastly,
always observe respect.
STA. TERESA: Today’s program is a webinar entitled Assessment 101: Exploring the
Dynamics of Psychological Assessment but before we proceed, let’s start our event with a prayer
to be followed by the singing of our national anthem and AU Hymn.

opening remarks and introduction of guest speaker.

BARLOW: Let us move on to the next part of our event, the awarding of certificate. For this
may I call on Mr. John Marc Balano.

TAN: Thank you Mr. Balano. May I request everyone to not leave the meeting because after the
closing remarks we will have our evaluation and photo documentation. That’s it for today’s
event. I’d like to give the floor to Ms. January R. Barlow, Vice President internal of the
psychology society as she delivers the closing remarks.
