In Search of Magical City
Once, there was a man who (0) find his life very boring. One day, he (1) decides to leave his
hometown. The man (2) tells a boy that he wanted to look for the Magical City where everything is
different, new and exciting. The man (3) shouts that he (4) has heard amazing stories about the city.
‘I (5) wanted to see the city for myself!’ He said.
The man set off on his journey. Later in the evening, he found himself in a forest He decided to
spend the night there. Before he (6) lie down to sleep under a tree, he took off his sandals. Then, he
carefully placed them so that they pointed in the direction towards where he was going.
However, while he was fast asleep, the boy came by and quietly whispered to the man that he
will never find the Magical City. The boy turned his sandals around and left quickly. When the man
woke up in the morning, he (7) slipping his feet into the sandals and continued walking.
After a few days, he came to a town which he thought was the Magical City. It was not like what
he had imagined it. The boy appeared and laughed at him. The boy (8) say to the man that he had
changed the direction of the sandals, that’s why the man had returned here. The man was furious
and dumbfounded, as he had made the journey for nothing.
