GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

To produce graduates highly specialized in civil, electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering that have a strong foundation in the basic physical, behavioural and social
sciences and holistically consider the economic, social, and environmental relevance to projects undertaken.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

1. To produce graduates possessing capabilities in planning, design, operation, management and maintenance of structure.
2. To produce graduates deeply concerned with sustainable development and preservation of healthy environment.
3. To produce highly professional and proficient engineers through integration and specialized training.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CURRICULUM

The BSME Program is a professional who effectively and efficiently meets the scientific, technological and various needs of business, industries and communities in
the global economy by developing processes and by applying engineering principles and methodologies in the analysis, design, implementation and management of
hardware, its underlying software, and the integration of both.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING-SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

1. To provide instruction that enhances the student’s ability to analyze a complex system into basic factors, the originality to synthesize and invent new solutions relative
to mechanical engineering
2. To provide instructions to future mechanical engineers to design, test, build, and operates the machinery of all types, ready to work on a variety of structures design
for both economy and efficiency.
3. To produce graduates trained in mechanics, hydraulics and thermodynamics fully grounded in such subjects as metallurgy and machine design.

VIII. Course Description

This course is designed to be an introductory course that includes the study of locomotor and non-locomotor patterns, manipulative, rhythmical movement
patterns, and skills development as they relate to motor learning. In this course, the concept of providing challenging yet success-assured learning
experiences for skill development and the enhancement of self-esteem will be consistently reinforced. The developmental (fundamental) movement objectives
skills enable the learner to handle him/herself in a variety of movements. They form the major curriculum component of physical education. Furthermore, this
course is designed to provide the opportunity to become familiar with the components of development movement, refine his/her own personal skills, and
increase his/her knowledge base in teaching developmental movement skills and activities. Through exposure to a variety of learning experiences, the
prospective teacher will begin to develop a repertoire of movement activities necessary for the teaching of physical education from the development approach.
