I do not play many kinds of sports, but I love to go swimming. Swimming is just my
hobby, but sometimes I also participate in some competitions at my school and local
area. When I first went to the pool, I just simply wanted to know how to survive when
we felt into water, and it gradually became my favorite thing to do in free time. It took
me two weeks to finally floating and swimming for a couple of meters. Before that, I
had to struggle very hard and drink a lot of water. However, once I could learn the right
technique, swimming became so easy and relaxing. After swimming for about two
years, I became taller than most of my friends at the same age. I usually go to the pool
at the weekend. Swimming is not simply an activity, but it is both a surviving skill and a
supporter for our health.
I would like to talk about my favorite sport, which is swimming.I first knew about it
when I was 10 years old. My mom thought that I should learn to swim at an early age so
that I wouldn’t drown in the water. Frankly speaking, I kinda enjoyed the swimming
class as I guess I was born with the Water element. Nowadays, I still keep the habit of
going to the swimming pool every Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend who is also a
fan of this water sport. Only when I am snowed under a heavy workload do I ever skip a
day. I love this sport for several reasons: First, it helps to keep my body in perfect shape.
Second, swimming is a great sport for me to improve my height. Last but not least, since
I started this sport, I barely feel stressed or overworked. All in all, I suggest this sport is a
must-have pastime for everyone.
