A Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan in TLE IV

I. Learning Objectives:
At the end of the class, the students will be able to:
1. Know the process of making the popsicle stick miniature swing;
2. Relate the importance of making the popsicle stick miniature swing in real life
situation;
3. Create and apply the process of making popsicle stick miniature swing.
II. Content: Process of making popsicle stick miniature swing
Materials: PowerPoint, popsicle sticks, glue gun, cartolina, coloring materials and
scissors.
Value Integration: Cooperation and Biblical Passage
III. Learning Procedure:
A. Preparation
1. Prayer
2. Checking of Attendance
3. Discuss the Objectives
4. Impose House Rules
B. Review
1. Ask the students on what was the previous lesson
2. Ask the students on what are the steps or preparation before making the
carpentry.
C. Drills
1. Present a flashcard that consist of different objects that can be found inside
the house.
2. Let the students name the different things.
D. Motivation (picture analysis)
1. Show pictures of things that can be seen inside and outside the house.
2. Let the students make a guess.
E. Presentation
1. Before discussing the lesson, you are going to divide the class into 5
groups first.
2. Then, they will go to their respective groups and form a small circle.
3. Present the output or the project to the class, that serves as the first glance
for the students of the project.
4. Call some students on what could be the possible steps on how to make
this project.
5. Present the steps on how to make this project by flashing it on the TV.
6. Present a video on how to make this project, and let the students observe
on how to make this.
F. Lesson Development
Activity Time
1. Every groups will be going to make the project/ Miniature swing by using
any steps or technique on how to make this.
2. After making the Miniature swing, they are going to be creative, by just
adding color and decoration to their project.
3. You are going to give them 5-7 minutes to finish the project.
G. Application
1. You are going to ask the students by how could they apply this lesson or
what is the connection on making the miniature swing in their own lives.
H. Generalization
1. Ask the students by what have you learned from our class?
2. Ask and assist the students from acquiring the prior knowledge.
IV. Evaluation
A. Enumerate the different steps in making the Miniature swing.
B. At the back of the paper, let them draw the project they made.
V. Assignment
A. Draw a table and a chair and label its parts.
B. Put it on the shortbondpaper.
