Communication plays a vital role in our society. It is a very important aspect of every
individual’s life, as it serves as the link that connects us together. Despite that, we cannot deny
the fact that there, are instances that may lead to miscommunication. Miscommunication happens
all the time and all over the world. Words are very powerful that can create a lot of troubles when
it is being misinterpreted or misused. Miscommunication creates gap in every relationship of
individuals and it can also cause a war between countries.

Based on the video, the failure to communicate adequately is one of the reason why global
issues have arisen. Issues regarding climate change, poverty, financial crisis, discrimination,
racism, security services and problems relating to politics are some products of
miscommunication. This global issues are all threats of global security, and it is a challenge for us
to create a truly global society.

A truly global society is somewhat having no issues of war, climate change, poverty and other
global issues. And to be able to achieve this, we should use communication effectively as a tool
for the development of a truly global society. With effective communication and language, we
were be able to understand each other's insight about different social issues existing in our society
and we may now give solutions on that issues. And if we are able to have an effective
communication with everyone, we will be able to share our ideas and experiences to other people.
And we have now the capacity to find common ground with the people we have met and we will
meet. Through communications, we are aware of the things that is happening in our world now,
and with our global ability to effectively communicate with one another, we can now be able to
deal with the different problems and persuade the whole world to move along and work together
to achieve truly global society.

In my opinion, for us to be an effective global communicator we should know first the meaning
and process of global communication. And we should practice active listening because an effective
communicators is always a good listener. Communication plays a vital role in the growth and
development of globalization. As human beings, we have the ability to globally communicate with
one another in different ways regardless of where we came from. A global communicator knows
how to appropriately use the internet because internet provides a way for effective communication.

And also to be an effective global communicator we should understand each other’s perception
as well as respecting the opinions of each person. Building partnership and connecting with other
nation is important to build a truly global society. By using technology and the global ethics, we
can eventually solve challenges that our society that may face as well as helping one another in
order to build a truly global society. Always remember that communication is important as it gives
us the power to unite as one, and it unlocks the different perspectives that we weren’t aware of.
And it opens our minds to think deeper.
