Topic: The Philippine Constitution

Questions:

1. As the Philippine Constitution is the fundamental law of our land - the Philippines, as
a citizen of this country, how important to you is The Philippine Constitution? Justify
your answer.

Answer:
The Philippine Constitution is important for me because it carries the CBL or
Constitutional By-Laws of the government and other private organization that maintain
its order. Through this we could know how the government internalize and process the
concern of the people where consequently they will initiate to make a policy or laws.
The Philippine Constitution also carries the rights and welfare that benefits the Filipino
people; not just who abides in urban area but also those who belong in the indigenous
cultural communities for it acknowledges and promotes their rights as a human being.

2. In the Duties and Obligations of the Citizens, it was stated in number 9 the
"Willingness/readiness to defend the nation at all times". As a Filipino Citizen, in what
way will you execute this duty and obligation as shown of your love for your country?

Answer:
As a Filipino citizen the way which I think will be the appropriate to show my love
for the country in the concept or willing/readiness to defend the nation at all times is
through participating in various youth organizations that are under or functioned by the
government. For I believe the goals and objectives of those organizations are to
promote the peace and security of the community and also leading the youth in the right
track in order not to be one of the terrorist that will someday oppose the government. It
also promote the youth to build camaraderie and to avoid with the bad habits that they
used to do.

3. From the Section 7 to Section 10 State Policies discussed by us, choose 1 section
which you think should be the one that will be the 1st on the list to be implemented by
the state and why? Justify your answer.

Answer:
The section that must be first on the list to be implemented by the state is the
Section 10 where the state shall promote social justice in all phases of National
Development. In the area of economy it must be prioritized that whatever status you
have in the society the government must be fair in providing individuals with basic
livelihood in order to have an income. In the area of education all must be given an
opportunity to study with a free tuition. In the employment the employer must give the
employee a chance further showcase its skills and talent and how it deals with the
circumstance before concluding with just one mistake. In criminal justice, the verdict
must treat everyone with equality whatever status and titles he/she holds in the society;
justice must be served with the one who deserves it. In conclusion, the section 10 must
be the priority list for we need the social justice in today’s kind of living for we know that
we are now on the advance technology. If people are getting smarter, then we must be
wiser.
