Ask the students to read the poem “Six Blind Men and the Elephant” in
their module. Then, ask comprehension questions about the poem.

Analysis:
Ask students to give input on the definition of philosophy and its holistic
approach with the following tasks:
a. Ask students to give the definition of philosophy using Pop Corn
Recitation Strategy.
b. Have them give the definition of a holistic approach.
c. Let the teacher give additional information on the definition of
philosophy and its holistic approach.

Abstraction:
a. Ask students to give concrete examples of holistic perspectives and
partial point of view.

b. Let them give situations at home in which they used the holistic perspective
and partial point of view.

Application: Tell the Story of Your Name!


1. Let the students share their presentations to the class.
2. After the sharing session, the teacher can also ask the following
questions:
a. What do we mean by holistic perspective?
b. What is a partial point of view?
