    ENGLISH MONTH CELEBRATION

    CONTEST MECHANICS

    SPEECH CHOIR COMPETITION

    1. Speech choirs shall be comprised of twelve (12) to twenty-five (25) class members coming from
    each section of grade 11.

    2. “ ” by shall be the piece and be recited with vocal and other effects in five (5) to seven (7)
    minutes, the entrance and exit shall be applied.
    3. A 1-point deduction shall be made for every 30-second excess during the performance.
    4. Dangerous stunts shall be prohibited. The board od judges reserves the right to discontinue
    presentations whenever posing danger or risks to the members of the team, the judges, and the
    audience. Violation would mean disqualification.
    5. Upon submission of the results to the committee, judges’ decision shall be considered final and
    irrevocable.
    6. Only three (3) speech choirs shall be awarded as Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up.
    7. Contest proper will be on November 23, 2022, (Wednesday) 8:00 a.m. at 12 HUMSS F room.
    8. The winners will be announced on the culminating program of English Month Celebration on
    November 28, 2022 at Naguilian National High School Covered Court.
