Main Caption.

The theme of this year's Linggo ng Kabataan 2022, Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All
Ages, is taken from the United Nations' International Youth Day. The objectives of this year's events are
to increase awareness of some challenges to intergenerational solidarity and to emphasize the idea that
action from all generations is required to accomplish sustainable development goals.

Laro ng Lahi.

LARONG PINOY are Games of our Heritage. It is a Philippine cultural treasure. The Filipino Games are
timeless. It is cherished by many, as it is part of our heritage. Larong Pinoy’s popularity encompasses not
only the youth, but adult and elderly generations as well.

In Celebration of Linggo ng Kabataans . the SK Gumaoc West in Partnership of AYLAB Youth

Organization brings back “laro ng lahi” on August 8, 2022 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for kids ages 14 below
while 1:00 pm onwards for the Youth ages 15-30 yrs old.

To equip our youth the skills and knowledge in managing disasters. the SK Gumaoc West in Partnership
of AYLAB Youth Organization and City Disaster Risk and Reduction Managemnt Office

present “DRRM Training and Rescue Olympics” on August 9, 2022 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, this event will
also showcase the competitiveness of our Youth Disaster Team.

Generation Gap
The generation gaps are becoming more and more extreme.

Clashing of two generation’s Idea the fight starts. Because of misunderstandings, both parents and
children are unable to establish a compromise and begin to distance themselves.

presents “Bridging the Gaps” on August 10 , 2022 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Barangay Covered Court.

Professional Development
“The best way to gain power is to give it up.”

In Celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan. The SK Gumaoc West in Partnership of AYLAB Youth Organization
and PESO presents “Professional Development Training ” on August 10 , 2022 1:00 am to 5:00 pm at
Barangay Covered Court.

The event highlights the importance of professional development to all career options, engaging in
career planning and professional development after your graduation will provide you with a competitive
advantage when you are ready to enter the workforce.

Qualifications:

*Open for all Fresh SHS and College Graduate or Out of School Youth who is currently looking for a job.

*Must be 18 to 30 years old.

*First 30 registrants will be accommodated in this event

Mobile Photography
Mobile Photo Contest

Theme " Intergenerational solidarity: creating a world for all ages"

1. Open for 15 to 30 years old from Barangay Gumaoc West, Amatuer and Professional Photographer is
not allowed

2. Participants shall only use their mobile phone to take photograph for their entry in the contest. Use of
DSLR and other types of camera is prohibited. The photo must revolve around the given theme.

3. Use of photo editing apps and tools such as lightroom and snapseed is allowed but both raw and
edited photo shall be submitted.

4. Maximum of 2 photo shall be submitted by each participant for the contest. (1 Picture for raw, 1
Picture for edited)

5. Entry shall be sent thru email at kdnatividad1796@gmail.com. File name format should be
MPC_TitleofEntry_by_(Name of contestant) e.g MPC_familyislove_by_Juandelacruz. It is advisable to
submit your entry thru email for better quality of the photo.

6. Criteria for judging:

Uniqueness/ Originality -20%

Visual Impact -20%

Online Votings -10%

Drug awareness
Teenagers are at high risk for drug addiction resilience is important in preventing adolescent
involvement in drug abuse.

Resiliency Training and Planning on August 11 , 2022 1:00 am to 5:00 pm at Barangay Covered Court.

Youth Summit

“When you are young, they assume you know nothing”

Youth involvement in community planning, decision making, and action hasn’t received a lot of attention
in the past, but youth are becoming increasingly involved in community development. Youth
participation helps youth become empathetic citizens who could potentially continue similar work when
they become adults.

The 1st ever Youth Summit in the Gumaoc west will help Youths to share their ideas and utilize their
diverse skillsets, knowledge, and networks to effectively address persistent problems of today.
