Rationale and Objective

With the ease of COVID-19 restrictions, students are now required to return to school and resume
their traditional face-to-face classes. Schools provide an environment for young people to develop skills
and learn more about themselves and their capabilities while also receiving the quality education they
necessitate for the years ahead. Recent observations in Barangay Tetuan and one of its schools,
Zamboanga City High School Main (ZCHS), show an inability to provide the youth with the proper
curriculum owing to a shortage of funds and classroom materials, such as the scarcity in filling in chairs,
tables, books, and other supplies needed for educational purposes. Poor educational systems,
insufficient funding, and/or erroneous spending are the leading reasons for the lack of resources in
schools. As a consequence, pupils may engage in misconduct and violence and fail to receive the proper
education required.
"Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan," one of Dr. Jose Rizal's well-known sayings, translates to
"The youth is our nation's hope." With that, the support of the educational system in the country and our
city adequately prepares them for the future of both the nation and the students. What if, however, the
youth themselves have lost hope as they are falling behind other learners of different schools due to
their institution's lack of resources? This concern has a wide-ranging impact and is an issue that must be
remedied if we want to ensure the quality education received by students in Barangay Tetuan.

Project Outline

The project outline section was created to provide details on what can be done in order to improve
the school's curriculum and to make a difference for learners attending the institution.

The following are the procedures that will be carried out by the proposed project:
a. The proposal contains the procedures to mend the educational system within Zamboanga city
Highschool Main providing a solution to the issues.
b. The proposal will be presented to the barangay officials to give them an overview of the
procedures regarding the funds needed for the school.
c. When the proposal is approved by the barangay, we will proceed to the education board.
d. A project presentation will be conducted to give the school board an overview of the project and
its objectives.
e. Once the proposal is approved by the school board, the funds needed will be utilized.
After the conduction of the proposed project, the Zamboanga City High school (ZCHS) will:
Have adequate facilities such as an infirmary, cafeteria, and classrooms to ensure the safety of the
students and instructors, as well as to aid learning.
Be able to provide sufficient learning materials to the students to facilitate effective learning and
instruction.
Be able to produce skilled teachers and staff to accommodate all students.
