What are your short term and long term goals

I have always categorized my career into short term and long term goals. It is beneficial as well as
promising. I have worked for 2 years on the same principle in my previous companies Ma Shrde Coching
Center and S & S Associate.

Surely I have a list of goals prepared for this job position. My short-term goals are fairly simple. I want to
settle down in the new work environment as quickly as I can. It is necessary to adapt oneself to a new
environment for better performance.
Apart from this, my long-term goals are to grow into the job. Progress is the key. I want to see myself
extracting every single drop of experience as I move ahead. These are not just goals but a guideline that
I have to follow. In the end, it can be advantageous to me as well as this organization.

I have always believed that internships are a great way to apply the knowledge from the classroom to
real-world experience. It not only boost our confidence but also help in developing the soft skills that are
much needed at workplace and in leadership positions.

Unfortunately, I haven’t really got an opportunity to intern with a company till now.
As far as academic projects are concerned, I am aware that project work enables students to think out of
the box owing to the creative levels of imagination. Right from choosing a topic from an area of interest,
project work involves finding creative solutions to various project-related problems and many technical
challenges.

However, I don’t have any real time project experience as such.

Having said that, I would like to mention that I’m really excited about this opportunity because I think it
will give me the right exposure and develop my skills further.

I have always believed that internships enables one to gain first-hand exposure of working in the real
world. It also allows students to harness the skill, knowledge and theoretical practice they learnt in

Academic Projects are a great way to understand the subject better and get a practical experience. It

What are your strengths & weaknesses

My strength or strongest asset is my work ethic and my willingness to step in immediately. I am always
comfortable to do a project part that nobody else wants to do because I feel these challenging bits offer
the biggest learning opportunities of all.

I typically love to work beyond pre-set expectations. I also take great pride in my ability to adapt quickly
to deliver the best results.
My weakness is that I am an introvert. I hesitate to openly share my ideas in a group setting or speak up
during team meetings as I am not always comfortable. A friend pointed out that this was hampering the
team’s performance during a college project. I realized I had some good ideas which I could not put
forward at the right time.

I have been working on this nature of mine and only recently have started drafting points that I feel are
important and I have been sending them across through mails or on a WhatsApp group. That way, I am
comfortable discussing my thoughts. It is still a work in progress, but it's something that I've improved
dramatically over the past year.

I consider persistence and negotiation my biggest strengths.

From a persistence point of view, my performance has been praiseworthy for 2 years in a row now. Also,
my last manager would surely vouch for the fact that I am a consistent performer. I have received a
good bonus in my last organization, and this is a proof of my abilities.

Besides, as I said, I have great negotiation skills. While negotiating, I can understand my own interests,
why I want something and what I actually want; along with this, I can easily perceive the interests of the
other party, which makes me a good negotiator!

One of my weakness is that I am a very shy person and often cannot question authority in group
meetings. When I spoke of this with my manager, he suggested that I send in questions via email post
the meeting. I decided to extend the opportunity to everybody else at the workplace. So if anyone had
any questions they would write to me. I would then collate them and send them to the required
authority. I was able to set a new practice in office.

I have the ability to work effectively with different kinds of people. Hence, I would say that
organizational skills are one of the strongest points about me. I had to meet strict deadlines and
coordinate with several departments simultaneously in order to deliver a project. I was ultimately able
to deliver the project on schedule. In the end, this experience made me realise that I possess good
organizational skills. But the entire episode also helped me to polish my time management skills and
multi-tasking abilities side-by-side.

I struggle with maintaining a good work-life balance. This used to put immense stress on me. I have now
taken up weekly dance classes and do pottery on the weekends. This has given me avenues to de-stress
and maintain high productivity levels.

I am absolutely willing to relocate and travel if needed for the right opportunity. And I believe that this
