So now we will be discussing the Basic hand

signals in Volley Ball.

OFFICIATING HAND SIGNALS IN

VOLLEYBALL
(STUDENT WILL READ)

Start with the arm straight out from the

shoulder. The arm is also parallel to the

Each team may have a total of twelve
substitutions per set – two for each

same two players: the original and
replacement. Moving the libero does not

6. BALL NOT TOSS

was in or out?” In volleyball, if any part
of the ball touches any part of the
playing court, including the line, the
ball is in. It has to be completely outside
of the line for it to be called out

The service execution rule states that a

server has to carry out a service hit
within 8 seconds after the 1st referee's
whistle. If a service is carried out before
1st referees whistle or too late after 1st

10. FOUR TOUCH

(STUDENT WILL READ)

In volleyball, a team, which consists of six

players, is only allowed to make contact
with the ball a maximum of three times
before passing it over the net to the
opposing team. If a team touches the
ball more than three times when it is on
their side of the net, they will be issued
a four hits violation.
