Fundamentals of education
Education and training are important tools for informing workers and managers about workplace
hazards and controls so they can work more safely and be more productive.
Firstly, fundamentals of education can vary but to me the most important things are learning
environment, educational content and teacher and teaching methods

Learning environment must be healthy, it should be adapted for both girls and boys. There should be a
learning environment also for students with disabilities.

Teaching materials should be relevant and sufficient.

The teacher must be trained and sufficient.He/She must use teaching methods that allow the student to
participate actively and methods that can adapt to our technology.

Adult learning techniques

The techniques are similar with normal learning techniques but the difference is that adults are
experienced and they want to be treated in that way. So informal conversation are important for them
you shouldn't treat them like a child who knows nothing.

Adults also tend to ask the question “what’s in it for me” .


So you need to explain the individual benefits and why this education is important for them.
As Socrates said, “Knowledge must come through action”. Learning with action is an effective
method and a fun way for both children and adults.

And lastly adults want to be treated as independent, and capable people. So you should give them the
freedom to make mistakes, and also give feedback which assures that learning is meeting the
objectives.

Ohs Education & Communication

For OHS education, the first action should be program awareness training.
Managers, supervisors, and workers all need to understand the program's structure, plans, and
procedures. That ensures that everyone participates in developing and improving the program.

Second action is to train employers managers and supervisors on their roles


Employers, managers, and supervisors are responsible for workers' safety, so they have to have some
training.

Third action is to train workers on their specific roles in the safety and health program.
Additional training may be needed to help workers to include any safety and health responsibilities
into their daily routines.
The last one is to train workers on hazard identification and controls

To sum up, Education and training provides all of these people; the knowledge and skills needed to do
their work safely and avoid creating hazards that could put themselves or others at risk, understanding
the workplace hazards and how to identify, report, and control them, specialized training, when their
work involves unique hazards.

Effective Communication In Workspace

Be a happy person and be kind to everyone, You should see what kind of person people might want to
listen to and act in that way.
Be a good listener, otherwise the person will think that you really don't care about what he or she is
saying
Speak in a soft voice. Even if it's tempting to raise your voice, you shouldn't do it. Just Make sure not
to murmur.
Appreciate the listener. Be honest and ethical. Some people try to please others by using polite
language but that is not completely true. You should be honest and ethical. That's when people will
think you are reliable.

Ethics in working life

Ethics are the moral principles that govern a person's behaviour or the conducting of an activity.
Ethics is concerned with what is good for individuals and society and it is the branch of knowledge
that deals with moral principles.
As for business ethics, it involves managing people, justice, equality and honesty.

Work morality, in a certain period, by certain groups of people's behavior and behavior in society to
regulate their relations with each other. It is the whole of the rules and principles of behavior.

Ethical Responsibilities of Managers Towards Employees

Respecting the right to work & privacy


Fair wage payment.
No discrimination.
Provide employees the right to free speech.
Quality of working life in safe and in healthy conditions .
Obstacles to employees’ right to form unions and to strike not being.
Provide employees with the right to participate in decisions.
