Execelise. I am 19 years old, I lived in Lapaz 2

Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. I love to watch
different genres of movies. And for me watching
movies is my retail therapy, which means every
movie that I’ve seen makes my day, and puts me in
a good mood. Another thing about me is I also love
singing, I think that is my asset as a person and I’m
so much grateful for that. And the last thing is that I
am an introvert person, I feel more comfortable
focusing my inner thoughts and ideas, and for me
having a one friend or two is enough for me.

When Covid-19 started, a lot of things really changed especially the education
of many students. As one of those students it’s really hard to adjust as what they called
new normal. Since the teachers is not allowed to teach the students personally
because of the pandemic, the DepEd started to implement a distance learning set-up
or also known as online class. And my experiences are very hard, especially when
there is no one teaching you personal and when there are some teachers who couldn’t
provide answers to your questions and your confusions and it makes me cry every
night. And I do procrastinate sometimes because it’s really tiring at the beginning but
I realized that at the end of the day I am the one will suffer if I’ll continue this kind of
behavior. I am really struggling those days, always looking for a friend who could help,
looking for many resources to gain more ideas about every particular topic and the
worst is looking for an answer in every exam that the professor didn’t discuss anything.
But I guess that those experiences made me as an independent and better student,
hardworking, strong, and wise person.

My expectation in our University is that I hope that they will encourage students
to build up their confidence, to enhance their talents and help them to be one of a good
example of other students as well. I expect the teacher that she will encourage and
help me to build up my confidence, and be patience because I believe that behind
every teacher has a good heart. And also a teacher who understand my problems and
helps me to improve them. And I hope that she will be having fun handling with us.
