Speaking Cheat sheet.

1. To talk about habits, hobbies, lifestyle, routines. We use SIMPLE PRESENT.

Pronouns: I, YOU, WE, THEY-


(+) They are American, They speak English
(-) They aren’t Brazilian. They don’t speak Portuguese
(q) Are they American? Do they speak Portuguese?

Pronouns: HE, SHE, IT-


(+) My wife wakes up at 8:00 am every day
She goes to school at 9am
She washes the dishes after cooking

She fixes the car when it’s broken

Routines PAST
2. To talk about routines, habits, lifestyle in the past, and that most of the time are
different from the present we use the past form “ USED TO”

When we talk about important events in our life that are over. We use simple past.
