Dear Parents:

We are happy to have your child as part of our summer school program and we are looking forward to having a great
summer together! Below we’re sharing with you all the information you should need in regards to the program.
Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 11th – August 4th, 2022
Time: 8:15-11:45am
Location:
Delano Elementary School - Kindergarten - 6th graders

School Supplies: There are a few items that students will need to bring with them for summer school. Please, don’t feel
like you need to purchase a new set of supplies. The kids can bring the used materials returned at the end of the school
year. The materials students will need listed below.
School box for supplies
Scissors
5 Pencils
1 Plain Folder
1 Notebook
1 Glue Stick
1 Pack of Markers
Backpack
1 Pack of Crayons
1 Highlighter
Headphones
***Please bring a water bottle and a snack each day***

Tiger Kids Club: Tiger Kids Club staff will take care of escorting students to and from summer school.

Student Arrival & Dismissal:

There is no bus transportation to and from summer school.
Students getting dropped off and picked up will do so in the south parking lot located behind the ice arena.
Arrival: We ask that parents drop off their kids between 8:00-8:15. Students will gather in the cafeteria as they arrive.
Departure: We will begin the parent pick-up process at 11:40.

Message from the District Nurse: Please remember we are still seeing COVID-19 cases. We ask that if your child or
anyone in your family is ill in any way (including allergy-like symptoms) to keep your child home. Please consult the
decision tree with any questions. Face coverings are recommended for students and staff in school, but not required.
