Description:
Sliding sash windows are windows that open vertically or horizontally, by sliding the sash (panel
that moves) along an embedded track. This style traditionally includes panels within the window
that slide side to side. It comes with a number of benefits including compact functionality, ease
of operation, and the option of an exterior screen. Sliding sash windows are popular in areas with
limited space or exterior walkways or living spaces close to the window. They are a classic
option and have stayed popular through their versatility, durability, and ability to scale.

Popular in terms of durability, sound insulation, thermal efficiency, and low maintenance, uPVC
is one of the best materials for windows. Given the outstanding properties of uPVC, sliding
windows made from this material have increasingly become a preferred choice in modern
households.

Easy to use. When it comes to opening or closing your windows, then a sliding window has to be
the easiest of all. ...
Hard wearing and low in maintenance. ...
Extremely economical. ...
Functional.

Cleaning the inside of the window will be easy, it'll be a breeze! The difficulty will come with
trying to clean the outside. They don't tilt or angle as much as other windows so it's harder to
reach round to the other side.

Surely everyone knows the often large and heavy swing windows, which were installed in
schools and hospitals, especially in the buildings from the 70s of the 20th century.
They were heavy, but nevertheless the guarantee for a maximum of light in the buildings. Also in
the private real estate of the former construction period, swing windows were installed for living
rooms with a generous amount of light and a beautiful view. Even then, wooden window frames
were also very popular with these models. Today the swing windows made of wood are making
a comeback, not least because many buildings from the time are being renovated.
How does a swing window work?
In contrast to the tilting window, the swing window can not be opened laterally. Mostly located
at the bottom of the window handle, with which the window is operated. With this handle
different positions of the window can be set. For a little fresh air, the handle can usually still be
latched in the frame.
There is a little bit more
which ensures that the hook does not come loose and ruptures the window, even in windy
conditions. With the window halfway open, or even divided into several sections by some
swinging windows, there is once again the option of fixing the window, but not protected from
the wind - unless special fixing techniques have been installed.
These additional functions exist

it for a surcharge. The simplest windows can only be opened slightly or halfway and turned
completely, for example for exterior cleaning of the frame and the pane.
Wooden swing windows: Paint the frame regularly
Like every window and door made of wood, they need to be repainted regularly. The sun
bleaches the wood, causing cracks and ugly discolored spots, if that does not happen. Any glaze,
even colorless for bright windows, nourishes the wood and ensures years of unadulterated look.
If the windowpane is taped clean and a good glaze is used, painting is straightforward and a
clean affair.

Swing window is a Norwegian window with a 180 degree rotation of the sash in the vertical
plane. The window, which is unique in its technical solution, is equipped with hidden high-tech
hardware allows the sash to rotate around its axis without disturbing the order on the windowsill:
flowers in pots and curtains remain in place.

A special mechanism and a stop-lock make it easy to open and safely ventilate the room, even
with small children in the house.

Swing windows have an undeniable advantage in poor weather conditions: under the pressure of
the wind, the window sash is pressed more tightly against the frame.

The design is a single-frame model of a reversible window with a width of 95 mm. The triple
glazed unit is installed in the sash with E-glass and the distance frame Super Spacer.
Swing is fitted with original hardware of the Norwegian company Spilka .

Fixed windows (often called a picture window) is a standard window that is non-operational. As
such, these windows do not have a handle, hinges, or any operable hardware. Fixed windows
permit light to enter while remaining closed to the exterior environment. This window style is
known for its ability to provide an uninterrupted outlook. It is a perfect solution in spaces where
maximizing a view, light transmittance, or solar heat gain is desired but ventilation is not a
requirement. Fixed windows are timeless and sophisticated while providing the sleek lines and
clean edges often desired in modern designs. This makes them an excellent option for almost any
architectural project from traditional design to contemporary styles.
