1. My day off.I want to describe my day off namely on; Sunday .

Every Sunday I wake up in

different time. On this day, I allow myself to get more sleep. I wake up, wash my face , brush my
teeth, eat breakfast and watch TV, or do something. Every Sunday, my beloved sister and uncle
with my niece come to us. I play with my niece, we go out with her. She is a very funny girl, with her my
Sunday is excellent. In the evening I go out with my boyfriend or we go somewhere to sit
together. In general, I can say that every Sunday passes by me in different ways.

2.Describe your family member. I want to describe my sister. She has a very beautiful name
Zinaida. Girl named Zinaida, have clear drive and urgency. She are 24 years old. She is already
married and has a wonderful daughter. She is very beautiful and attractive. Always neat and
well maintained(ухожена). She has very beautiful brown (haizl) eyes, long and dark hair. My
sister is slim. Zinaida is a very kind, honest and decent person. She will always help and support.
She is calm, kind, cheerful, shy and caring. She does not smoke and has a negative attitude
towards smoking. Zinaida loves to listen to music and read books. We can say that her favorite
things is to sit with daughter.

3.Describe yourself. My name is Aliona, my surname is Dimova. I am 19 years old. I am

gagauzka. I was born on March 21, 1998.I live in the village of Kopchak. At the moment I’m
studying at the State University of Comrat. I study at the national faculty. In the future I dream
of becoming a professional translator and traveling around the world. Just want to say that I am
a very cheerful person. My friends say that I have a very warm and friendly smile and kind eyes.
I can describe myself as a person of medium height. I have long dark hair. I’m slim and calm. So
I am very vulnerable. I am easy to offend. I really love animals, and I love children.

4.Travelling and tourism. Tourism helps people to forget about their daily routine and to relax
The travel and tourism industry is one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the
world. It brings foreign exchange earnings to countries. Tourism is important and vital for many
countries and island nations such as: Egypt, Greece, Thailand.It is a huge part of the economy of
these countries and island. The tourism industry has grown significantly over the last 50 years.
People are taking longer holidays, travelmore frequently and to more exotic and unusual
destinations.Tourism has become a global leisure activity.

5. Travelling broadens the mind more than reading.I agree with this expression, that travelling
broadens the mind more, than reading, because travelling people broaden their horizons.
Travelling we enjoy various picturesque places , we meet with different interesting people and
try unusual food. The best way to learn geography is to travel and the best way to learn and
begin to understand people is to meet them in their own homes. When we accumulate fresh
ideas and experiences, discover new things and get knowledge about the world , exchange
ideas and discover new things for ourselves. Also, I want to say that reading different books we
increase our vocabulary, it helps to develop a clearer thinking that allows expressing thoughts
clearly. But it is better to see than to read.

6. I would like to travel to… In this big world I most of all want to travel to France and more
precisely in Paris. Paris is the capital of fashion and beauty. This is a city of love. The cultural
heritage and rich history of this city influenced the development of the whole world. Confirm
this fact can literature, art, architecture. Also in Paris there are so many beautiful places that
that I would like to visit: the Eiffel Tower, the Orsay museum, the Grand Palace etc. I also love
beautiful houses and structures, so Paris attracts me also with its architecture. Here you can
find insanely beautiful buildings and sculptures. In addition, the city has a large number of
museum that store(keep) the secret secrets of the French capital. I believe that Paris is the
most attractive place for travel.

7.Nightmare holiday. Last summer I with my family went to the sea. The day was sunny. All
people were swimming on the sea. And so I decided to go into the water and swim a bit. But I
did not know how to swim. I went into the water with a lifebuoy. At first everything was fine,
but when the lifebuoy began to swell, I realized (understood) that I would soon drown. There
was no one near. I was far from shone and I started screaming . As a result I was noticed and
rescued. After this event, I did not go into the water any more. This summer was the most
nightmare of me. I almost drowned and in addition I had a strong tan.

8.My favorite photo. I very love to take photo of nature, animals, sunsets. In my life I took a lot
of pictures, but this photo is the one I like most. This photo I made two years ago, when my
mother bought me a new phone. I remember very well this moment, this beauty that I saw. The
photo was taken in Taraclia park. This photo depicts a lake and many trees. In the center of the
photo there is a lake. There is a lot of greenery around the lake. It was summer. In the middle of
the lake there are five stones that embellish a bit of the landscape. As for water, the water is
very clean. The sky is clean and blue. You can always look at it. In the end I want to say that this
photo inspires me and raises my mood.

9. My favorite painting. Art plays a big role in the life of every person. I want to describe my
favorite picture ‘’Girl with peaches’’. In this painting we can see a girl in a light pink dress,
sitting at the table . The girl is about twelve years old. She is dark-skinned and there is bright
blush on her cheeks. She has dark hair. The girl has got a pretty roundish face . Her eyebrows
are dark . She has got big brown eyes. The girl is sitting in a light room. I thing it is a dining
room. Behind the girl there is a big window in a white wooden frame. The walls in the room are
white. Behind the girl we can see a dark brown wooden chairs in the room and a small table
beside the window. The big table at which the girl is sitting is covered with a white tablecloth.
The girl is holding a big yellow peach in her hands. On the table in front of the girl there are
three more peaches. In the end I want to say that this picture attract me with its warm colors.
When I look at her, my mood rises.

10. My favorite season. My favorite season is spring. I love spring. It is a wonderful season.
Spring comes and nature awakens from its winter sleep. The days become longer and the nights
become shorter. The ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first spring flowers. How
lovely the white snowdrops are! There are new leaves and blossoms on the trees. The bird
begin to sing and building their nests. The air is fresh and the sun shines brightly. The days are
is very pleasant to watch how the nature awakens from the winter sleep. In spring we can go
to the country and have a walk in the woods or by the river, play ball-games, lie in the sun.
That is why I like spring more than any other season of the year.
11. My attitude to money. Money is the biggest ‘’drug’’ of society. Money is the original basis of
society. Without money, you can not do anything. But, on the other hand, too much money is
even more dangerous. If a person is rich, he becomes greedy; he will see in everything only
benefit. For a person money is capable to do crime, is capable of risking health, happiness. On
the one hand, money is evil, but without money it is not possible to live in this world. Money
governs the world. With the help of money, a person can get a good education, can travel, can
provide himself with housing, food and other necessary things. But we must not forget that
happiness is not in money . It is not possible to buy love, happiness, family with money.

12.Why I don’t want\want to be a millionaire. Not everything in life has a material value, but
many things can really be bought only for money . I know very well what it means to deny
oneself a pleasure due to lack of money. Do not have the opportunity to buy the desired food in
the store or buy your own clothes. That is why in the future I want to correct this situation.
When I grow up, I dream of becoming a millionaire. I need this not only for my own comfort
and getting a prestigious status. First of all, I want to help my relatives, my parents. I want to
help those who really need help. In the world there are people who have nothing to eat, not
where to live. Good material capital will allow me to do charity. I will help all people who are in
need.

13. If I could spend a year working or studying in another country, I would choose…the
education in London, because in London the education is very prestigious. In London there are
two university: Oxford and Cambridge. In this country the society is very polite, kind, friendly. I
want to study in this country at the university of Oxford. The university of Oxford is one of the
leading university in the world. To get education in Oxford is very expensive but it’s worth it. I
have a problem with English language and I can not speak very well in this language, until I can
only write in this language.

14. Text: It was just a holiday but it changed my life. holidays can be good for your health. You
lie on a beach and relax. But sometimes a holiday can change your life completely, which is
what happened two years ago to Sally Gook. She worked for American Express, she had a good

we have become independent, we have become responsible for our lives, we are already
independent enough to choose life that we want. We can change our lives only ourselves. no
one will do it for us, nobody cares about our life. That's why there is no need to hope for a
miracle.

16. Text: My life without money. Heidemarie, a 63-year-old German woman, has lived without
money for the last ten years and has written a book about her experiences called ‘’My life
without money’’. She was a psychotherapist. At the age of 54 Heidmarie left her job. She
decided to experiment on living without money. This experiment lasted a year. At first she
looked after the house of friends when they were on holiday. She stayed in their house in
return for watering plants and looking after their animals. At the moment she is staying in a
student residence where she can sleep, take a shower in return for cooking for the young
people who live there. In her opinion, all jobs are equally important. You may not earn a lot jf
money but you may be worth a lot as a person.

17. The place where I live. The village of Kopchak is the place where I live. I was born here, I said
my first word. My parents live here, my friends. Kopchak is a large village. A lot of people live in our
village. Also we have many shops, there is a big market, one big stadium, two schools, three
kindergartens. Every Saturday in our house of culture shows movies, for every holiday we have
concerts. I can say that our village is very friendly and I'm proud that I was born in this village.

18. A thing I have which is very important for me.A thing that is very important to me is my
mom’s gift. And this gift is a golden ring, which I have wearing for many years and never
remove it. I value this ring because it is not only beautiful, but also because it was presented to
me by the most dear person in my life.
