1. If we are to apply the Decalogue of Katipunan to the present situation of our
country, what does this Decalogue convey?
- The present dilemma, which is the breakout of COVID-19, has resulted in major
worldwide burdens. Detrimental effects include high rates of sickness and
mortality, financial troubles experienced by individuals, stress associated with
known and particularly unknown facts, and fear of the uncertainty regarding
continued impact. So, if we apply the Katipunan Decalogue to our country's current
condition, the Decalogue implies that it will function as our help in which we will be
encouraged and motivated to be strong enough to deal with such a dilemma. To
tackle this pandemic, we need the help of modern-day heroes like physicians,
nurses, medical technologists, or all health workers in general. Indeed, that
pandemic has caused increasing challenges for healthcare professionals
globally. These modern-day heroes believe, more than anyone else, that despite
the challenges, issues, and risks they are now facing, they can battle and be strong
enough to save the lives of all individuals in need of medical assistance. Like
soldiers, health workers also face considerable mental stress. It is sometimes
overlooked that, as humans, they experience grief when their patients die of the
virus. They, too, have families and will understandably be concerned that the virus
may infect individuals they care about the most. COVID-19 is not the last deadly
virus we will encounter. The bravery, devotion, and sacrifice of medical personnel
give the rest of us hope that we will be able to defeat this epidemic. We must
provide these health workers with all of the resources they require to accomplish
their duties while remaining safe and alive. We will need them if the next epidemic
occurs. Without a doubt, the most of those infected with this virus have recovered
thanks to modern-day heroes.
2. How this Kartilya ng Katipunan shape the lives of the katipuneros?
- The Kartilya ng Katipunan demonstrates how every Filipino may have a
meaningful life. Each lesson is unique in that it addresses different parts of a
person's life. It offered its vision of virtuous life as self-reflective teachings rather
than direct prescriptions. It claimed that internal, rather than external,
characteristics defined human greatness. Kartilya ng Katipunan became an oath
the every Katipuneros must follow to show their determination in being a part of
the people who wanted a change. Katipueros recognized that altering people's
ideas and actions was the only way to fully change them without misunderstanding
their political and moral contexts and ambitions, which fundamentally limited the
scope of what they were attempting to do. The Kartilya ng Katipunan's mission is
to develop its members into responsible, wise, and heroic soldiers and servants of

 their nation. To achieve that precise goal, it alters some people's past
preconceptions that served as the foundation of their ideas, much like in our
course, where there is a medical technology board's code of ethics that guides all
students in this profession. To become a medical technician in the future, this code
of ethics will be useful once we graduate, when we take the oath and use these
ethics in our work as a professional medical technologist.
3. Assessing the core purpose of KKK, analyse the effect of the movement that
affect the formation of Philippine independence.
- The KKK is a historically significant secret society and revolutionary organization.
Its origins may be traced back to 1892, when anti-Spanish Filipinos banded
together. The participants shared the objective of achieving independence from
Spanish domination. They fight together for the freedom of their beloved nation
from invaders who have oppressed them. Many Filipinos consider the KKK's
support for the establishment of Philippine independence to be one of the
organization's most significant contributions to the country's growth. Citizens
aspire to be free of the conditions that limit their personal and civic freedom. The
Katipunan functioned as a meeting place for Filipinos fighting for independence.
Their major purpose was to obtain independence from Spain through revolt. It
proved that Filipinos are honorable and patriotic, that they cherish life, and that
they have a good heart.
4. Examine the vision and mission of the Philippine National Police and Philippine
Army,and create a comparative essay re: the Decalogue of the vision and mission
of the Philippine National Police and Philippine Army with Decalogue of the
Katipunan.
- The Philippine National Police vision is to be capable, effective, and credible
police officers to all people in need of help, as well as responsive and always
accessible to enable the construction of a safer environment to live, work, and do
business. The aim of the Philippine National Police is to protect the safety and well-
being of all Filipinos. A police officer's job is to protect and maintain the peace and
order of the community with the community's active involvement. As police officers,
it is their duty to serve the community, honor the country, and guarantee that
everyone is treated fairly. Their primary mission is to enforce the law and keep
crime under control in their community. Furthermore, the Philippine Army aspires
to be a professional, capable, and responsive force that inspires national pride. Its
mission is to organize, train, equip, deploy, and sustain ground troops in support
of "win-the-peace" operations to help the Filipino people. The Philippine Armed
Forces comprise the Philippine National Police, the Philippine Army, and the
Katipunan (AFP). The AFP's ultimate purpose is to fight for Filipino rights and seize
control of the colonists' government in order to build a free and independent
Philippines.
