Good morning, the book i read (AI RED) is called (cold) Animal Farm.

It was written by (bay)

George Orwell. And I`m going to analyze (analais) extract 1.

The book tells the story of a group of animals on a farm, who (ju) make (meik) a revolution
(revolushon) on the farm, the place where they live (lif), to free themselves (temsels) from the
oppression of humans. (jiumans)

The excerpt begins (bigìns) when Snowball crosses out and changes (cheinlles) the name of
Manor Farm, to the name of Animal Farm giving Snowball the beginning of a new social
(soushal) order among the animals of the farm. Then, for everyone to remember and comply
(complay) with the laws (los) of this new order, snowball writes (raids) the seven
commandments on a high place on the farm with letters visible to everyone.

excerpt has as main (mein) character Snowball, who writes the seven commandments on the
wall, Snowball is a white (wait) pig, is a character described (discrait) , who among all the pigs,
was the best speaker (spiker) and friend of all (ol) the animals on the farm. They also mention
Napoleon and Squealer, Snowball's friends, Napoleon is a big pig of fierce (fier) aspect,
described as a character not so talkative (tokaltif) and closed to relate (rileit) with other
animals of the farm that were not the pigs, it is also (olso) worth mentioning (meinshionnig)
that he was a very cunning pig that got what he wanted, while Squealer, a very persuasive pig,
described as a very intelligent character and a better orator than Snowball.

The excerpt talks mainly about the creation (crienshion ) of the seven commandments and
how (jau) they were created by pigs after thoroughly (dorouli) studying the principles of
animalism, I can relate (rileit) this to the laws that our (auer) authorities (outoritis) and each
(ich) country creates (criets) to establish order, prohibit (projibit) and allow (alau) some actions
and behaviors (bijervos) to their population.

In the excerpt, the last commandment that Snowball writes (raid) on the wall is: "All animals
are equal (iqual)”. The last commandment gives (givs) us to understand that the animals of the
farm seek from the beginning of the story an equal treatment (tritment) among them, that no
one is superior (supirior) or inferior (infirior) to other animal. This I can relate this to the
political and social context of Canada, the laws of this country are clear and protect all people
(pipol) from any kind of discrimination (discrmineshion) . Neither (niter) gender, age (eish),
religion (rilillon) or skin color are arguments for any person to be discriminated in Canada.
According to the law of the country, in case(kes) there is any (eny) type of discrimination, the
same (sem) regulations (reguleshion) of Canada sanction(sancshion) the offender and the
affected person can even (iven) file (fail) a complaint against (aguenit) the offender before the
Human Rights (raid) Tribunal.

In conclusion, my excerpt is largely (larli) related (rileited) to "SOCIAL ORGANIZATION", which

can be evidenced in the excerpt when Snowball writes on the wall the seven commandments,
which come to be the laws for the new (niu) social order of the animals on the farm, this can
be related to the laws that are created (criedter) in countries to prohibit or allow actions that
can perfòrm its population, since (sins) any democracy, monarchy or dictatorship are governed
(govend) by (bay) a system of laws to establish h order in a community.
1. Why did the pigs create the seven commandments?

The pigs, who were the organizers of the rebellion on the farm, created the commandments so
that after taking over the Manor Farm, they would have laws that would maintain order and
good treatment among all the animals. With these commandments, the pigs and other animals
accepted the new social order of Animal Farm, the new name of Manor Farm.

2. In your opinion, what is the most important commandments? Why?

Among all the commandments presented in this excerpt, in my opinion the most important
commandment is the last one, number seven. Because, this gives us to understand that
animals from the beginning of history seek equal treatment among them, that no one is
superior or inferior to another animal, relating this to ourselves, since, we seek to live without
any type of discrimination that affects us as a citizen nor less as a person.

3. Why were the pigs responsible, for creating the commandments?

Those responsible for creating the commandments were the pigs, because of their superior
intellectual capacity compared to any other animal on the farm. This is evident in the excerpt,
when they mention that the pigs were learning to read and write for three months, during
which time they also studied the principles of animalism, thus being able to reduce them to
seven fundamental commandments for the new social order of the farm

4. What are the characteristics of the commandments?

The characteristics of the seven commandments that the pigs created after the rebellion in the
Manor farm, now called Animal farm. They are that all these commandments are to establish
equal treatment among all animals on the farm, also that they refer to attitudes of humans,
making these commandments are against humans.

5. To what extend is it important to have rules in a community?

To maintain order among all the people of the community in common, laws or rules are
created to establish a peaceful coexistence among people. Making that, the laws are very
important for a harmonious and pleasant coexistence between all those who are governed to
these laws.

6. What would a society be like without rules?

If in a society, there were no laws, nor rules or norms. Peaceful coexistence could not exist,
each person by nature would do what seemed best and would try to impose themselves over
others with violence. A society without rules would be a total anarchy, since people would be
able to do whatever they wanted without being bound by laws, causing this society to fall
apart in the long run.
