Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the Impacts of Using Social Media in

Academic Performance Among Senior High School Students of Laoac
National High School.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-questions:

1) What are the profiles of the respondents in term of:

a) Age
b) Gender
c) Academic Track Strand

2) To what extent social networking is harmful for Senior High School

Students?

3) What are the negative effects of using social media on students

Academic Performance?
