 The case is all about the food poisoning that happened here in
the Philippines last May 2021 and in July 2015. The first food
poisoning in the Philippines where nearly 2,000 people have
been poisoned by candy. Most of them are children and it was
said that it was intentionally poisoned. The victims have
experienced diarrhea, stomach cramps, and vomiting after
eating the fruit-flavored candies, that are sold by vendors
outside the school. According to health officials, that the candies
that they've eaten have no expiry date on it or even nutritional
facts on the labeling. They said that not only in durian candy
they experienced the poisoning by the people of Mindanao but
also in candy mango and mangosteen flavor. And about another
case which is happened in Cebu City, the case is all about the
food poisoning that happened on last May 23, 2021, Sunday.
The pork humba may have been to blame for the alleged food
poisoning that occurred during the feast of the Pentecost at the
IC3 Convention Center 1. The 26 performers experienced
dizziness and mild to severe stomachaches. Of the 26, 16 of
them were brought to the nearest hospital at the barangay
mabolo while the 10 of them were sent home. Mr. Ramil
Ayuman, the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Office (CDRRMO) officer-in-charge, said that the food packs that
they ate during the event which contains rice and humba packed
by plastic were prepared by a caterer from Lapu-Lapu City. The
allegedly said toxic food was turned over to the Department of
Health (DOH) Regional Surveillance Unit. And as of Monday
morning, May 24, the archdiocese of Cebu announced that all
the patients who were rushed to the hospital because of food
poisoning had already been discharged. Thankfully, there were
no other individuals reported to have fallen ill. Ms. Fe Barino said
that the hospital bills incurred by the performers were all paid by
the Archdiocese's Charismatic communities.

they've lose with vomiting and diarrhea and they immediately
liaising with the Department of Health (DOH) and other food-
related agencies. Through their interaction with the agencies,
they also solved their past accident because it was given justice.
The different cases of the incident happened at the Philippines,
makes the people to be more careful on what they have
consumed to avoid this kind of incident to come over again. And
such suspects as vendors in front of the school were also
convicted of the case for selling toxic foods so as not to harm the
children who buy somewhere in school. And the incident that
happen in Cebu city on last May 24, 2021, The Archdiocese of
Cebu on Monday said that all the 37 people rushed to two
private hospitals here on Sunday for suspected food poisoning
were already discharged after undergoing four to five hours of
medical observation. In a statement, the Archdiocese said the
individuals fell ill after eating "humba", a Cebuano pork dish,
during a Pentecost charismatic celebration held at the IEC
Convention Center in Barangay Mabolo but thankfully they are
fully recovered and no and no life was lost. In spite of
everything, they also forgave the culprit in the end because it
was not intentional and no one liked on what incident happened.
Lesson learned for all of them so that they do not ignore things
that can be an accident that we do not even expect to come into
our lives. As long as we make sure to ourselves on what things
we should do first before starting to cook our meals just to avoid
any contamination of foods and prevent food poisoning.

3. COOK - Cook food to the right internal temperature to kill
harmful bacteria.
4. CHILL - Keep your refrigerator 40°F or below.
