“No man is free who is master of himself.”

“Only the educated are free”

-Epictetus

From his quotes, it is clear that we are all living in a society which has rules, regulations and the
government. The purpose of this is to attain organized society and avoid chaos. Every human is
free but according to another philosopher, Thomas Hobbes, on his state of nature, he stated that
every human is mean and nasty and from that statement, even all humans has the nature to do
morally good, still there is a chance to make wrong and bad action that can harm the humanity.
Without rules and laws, we are exposed and bound to any harms of the outside world. Every
human is self-centered being which they are doing actions to satisfy themselves so from that
point there could be chance that they may do some crimes and to received that satisfactions. That
is why to avoid all of that, we need to be educated and learn ourselves in order for us to control
what we can do to avoid actions that may harm others and to avoid this chaotic world. Exceeding
to moderation of everything is always bad for ourselves such freedom, freedom means we can do
what we can without distractions and forces such as laws and rules. That is why the control is
there to fix that problem. In our world there is no such thing as freedom but still that makes us
safe from any harm of others.
