Today, November 12, 2022. I'm making myself

committed to achieve the goal of having Drug Free Self
and to know what I can do to have drug free society. I
will avoid places where I know drugs and alcohol will
be available; I will surround myself with friends who
don’t use drugs; I'll learn to avoid or resist temptation;
I'll teach myself how to cope with stress and relax
without the use of drugs; and distract myself with
activities like exercise or listening to music.
In pursuing the goal to eradicate substance abuse and
addiction we must be serious and critical. In today's
world even the young minds get involved in this kind of
crisis in which they're not only destroying their selves
but they also put others in the same danger and risks as
well. Considering that, drug education and prevention
campaign is one of the solutions to raise awareness of
the problem and to come up with effective solutions. Having drug education presentation in a wide variety
of modes — schools, municipal clubs, community courts, etc. — providing important information for the
people to get inform about drug abuse and drug prevention.
Also, I'll be a good role model for the young individuals and stay away and free from drug abuse and
misuse. I'll tell them that young people shouldn't use illegal drugs, and young must be guided to avoid drug
misuse. I'll show and tell them the negative consequences of using illegal drugs for them to better
understand that they must stay away with those substance. Lastly, I'll tell them the ways to resist the
pressure given by the society also by the people that surrounds them. Stay away from the people that might
lead and introduce you to the use of illegal substance.
Because people who live in a drug-free environment are more likely to collaborate on projects and have fun
together, to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds, and to actively support a healthy lifestyle.
Drug misuse has an impact on children, adults, schools, individuals at work, and families since it poses a
hazard to all communities.
